I don't mind the cold – I mean, I AM a Siberian! But sometimes, when the snow gets so packed or when it gets icy… then it's hard for me to get good footing. (I'm 14!) So… yeah, in a way, I'm ready for Spring. Except for thunderstorms!

Now that I have a short coat (well, actually, I'm pretty close to naked), I would be happy with Spring showing up, although I still like bounding through the snow. And Mom and Dad like that I'm not tracking snow in all over the place!

Well, as much as we complain about the cold – our spring weather only lasts about two weeks… Before we know it we will be in triple digits. I think I would like it for winter to hang around a bit more.

Just when I think The Herd might be getting a little complacent about the snow, they suddenly break into a happy dance, tag, wrestling match that tells the weather gods – bring it on. And our forecast is snow every day this week except one. The humans are ready for spring, but the dogs are still happily in winter.

Usually, I'd be right with you on being ready for spring. But, with my spine surgery, I'm kind of glad that the conditions aren't good for my favorite activities, which I'm banned from for now.

We're ready for spring too! We don't have any snow but there's no sun for my kitty sisfurs to lay in and it's raining so much my walks are muddy. Anyway, we're glad you're back!

Hi Sweet Sugar, The thingy about Thank You cards and notes has to do with Mango Minster and Mango's mom. I thought it would be nice of us to let them know how much we appreciated all the work they did. I didn't want to post Mango's snail mail addy… to prevent anyone from Pranking him by sending a box of Cats and Squirrels to his house. Soooo I am collecting the cards at my house and will send them in a box… W/O any squirrels or cats of course, to them when I get all the things in. Mango and his mom went All out FOR US. It was a lot of work and worry. This is just to be sure they know… that we know… and appreciate. Thanks for askin' and feel free to spread the word so that I have 87 tons of cards to send.
Now our day is complete – Sugar is back!!! Mom is wishing very hard for Spring and warmer temps too – not us, we still want oold and snow. Have a great week, Sugar.

We are NOT allowed to use the dreaded "S" word around mom. We are even starting to tire of it being around constantly. If mom and dad wanted this much snow we'd move to Vermont or upstate Maine. Mom broke her foot and ankle after the December snow and dad fell on his keesteer after the last blizzard. Mom said that the nice thing about living in the east bay area was you could go to Tahoe or the Sierras to "visit" the snow when you get the urge but you could go home and leave the "S" stuff up in the high country. We suspect that even Khyra will tire of this much snow if she hasn't already. Anyway, welcome back, we missed hearing from y'all.
