4th of July NAME GAME

Happy 4th of July!
I am participating in Frankie’s NAME GAME
My NAME is TopBrass Sweet as Sugar SIMA
I am from a lineage of TopBrass Golden Retrievers
Just in case you missed my previous post, a fellow TopBrass,
Cotton made the cover of Retriever News Magazine.

When my mom graduated from college, her father gave her a Lalique Puppy Crystal named Sugar. She LOVED it and said the next dog she’ll have will definitely a Golden Retriever named Sugar. Her wish came true.

I was the smallest of my litter.

So Sweet” were the first words of my family uttered when they saw me.
My sire (doggy dad) is Wherley’s Sour Mash who was a champion retriever in many field trials. The last accomplishment Mash achieved was 2nd place at the Great Outdoor Games. Sadly, Mash passed away September 2002.

My dam (doggy mom) is Sierra Red River Magic on the Water. Sierra past away two years ago.
I’m a doggy female look-alike Sierra.
Can you see the similarities?

My family decided to commemorate my
doggy parents, Sierra and Mash.
Si is from Sierra and Ma is from Mash = SIMA
