In honor of the show Top Chef Just Dessert (which premiers last night),
I would like to share a Doggie Treat Recipe that I requested last week

Major modification was done on the original recipe. The end result - Apple Blueberry Oats Dog Treats
Ingredients
2 cups of flour
1 cup of oats
1 apple (minced) = 1 cup
1 cup blueberries
1 tablespoon of honey
~1 1/4 cup of water
Place all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly to combine.
Roll out dough on floured surfaced to about 1/4 inch thick.
Using a cookie cutter, cut into bone shapes.
Place bone shape dough on ungreased baking sheet/pan.
Bake for 3 hrs in 250 degrees oven until thoroughly dry.
You may substitute flour with whole-wheat.
You may also add oil and egg to this recipe.
I give my Doggie Chef 4 Paws. Golden Yummy!!!
