The weather lately has been delightful.
Took advantage of it by going for a Golden Hike.
It was also a great Golden Opportunity to
wear my recent prize from Roxy The Traveling Blog.

It is a doggie backpack made by Aussie Backpack.
It is a wonderful backpack great for hikes or long walks. It is made of 100% cotton canvas. It’s breathable cotton mesh across the top, lets air in and does not make me hot. There’s a D ring on top where you can attach your leash and also serve as a harness. The two storage zipped pockets on the sides are spacious and enough for you to bring important necessary stuffs for your hike/walk.
As a whole, the Aussie Backpack is made well with a few things that could make it better. First, the D ring that is used for attaching a leash is plastic. Secondly, there seems to be lots of straps and they are too long. We had to cut it out so it will not drag on the ground.
Lastly with its name, you would think it is made in Australia.
It is not. It is made in India.
I was comfortable wearing the backpack on our hike. I just had to rest.
I was not sure if the hike made me tried or the photo shoot.
All in all I had a PAWSOME Golden Hike.

Very nice, Sugar! Thanks for the heads up on the backpack. Our weather is still too hot to do much with the boys, without embarking on a four hour trip to go north. We want to go hiking with our boys this winter!

I think you look very grrrreat in your Vest. I like the idea that they gave you LONG straps… better to have cut off some than to have had them TOO Short to work.
I would not like the plastic D ring either, though. Better safe than SORRY.

Glad you had a great golden hike! Our dog loves walking too, but don't think she would want to wear a backpack since she doesn't like wearing her winter jacket all that much. It looks like you could fit lots of treats in it though, maybe even a water bottle?

That's a very pawsome pack, Sugar. Mom's thought about one for me, but I don't like that kind of stuff. Maybe when I get older. (Yeah, sure. That's what she thinks)
