My favorite season officially starts today, September 22nd
… and I am missing it.
Autumn as many refer to as Fall is my absolute favorite weather of the year.
WHY? Nature gives us a spectacular show of colors. It s simply gorgeous.

We are thinking that you probably REALLY miss rolling in the leaves Sugar!! There probably isn’t alot of palm tree leaves lying around for you to play in!! We will check them out for you here and post some pics…ok?? Love that pic of you Sugar!!

We love fall too, its our favorite season, but Im pretty sure that are some new pretty things to explore in Hawaii.

We don’t have Fall here in AZ either – no changing leaves, no cool days. I’m so envious when I look at blog pictures where things are so rapidly changing.

OH Sugar… don’t feel sad about missing FALL/Autumn…. Just think that you WON’T be having to suffer the COLD WINTER that will follow all to soon. While WE are Freezing and up to our Ears in SNOW… you will be runnin in the SUN and SAND.

Was that at Montrose, Sugar? Near the dog beach? The trees across the street from me are just starting to turn yellow. Unfortunately, they will fall/blow off all too soon. There is a tree in the neighbor’s yard (sorta yard) that does get a bit red so that one is pretty. I love the cooler weather, the apple cider, the crisp morning air, the sweatshirt weather….I guess you won’t be getting any of that in Hawaii, but you won’t be getting 22 inches of snow that strands hundreds of motorists either! lol! Enjoy your own version of ‘autumn’ Sugar!!

Sugar, we so agree with you! It certainly is my favorite time of year, and the Husky kids love the cooler temps. I enjoy both the cooler temps and the gorgeous colors of Mother Nature! Love that pic of you! Happy Autumn! PS – tell your momma we sent her an Email with an invite.
Well, Sugar. I guess I’m in the same boat. When you live somewhere tropical, you just don’t have fall or winter or even spring. We have HOT and HURRICANE!
Maybe you can dream about those fall colors.
I think Hawaii would be fun but I would miss all the different smells of the seasons, the cold air, snow under my paws, etc. Fall is great too because all the squirrels are out gathering nuts for the winter so I am really busy chasing them! Take a dip in the ocean for me!
