Golden Appreciate it …
Saturday evening we were alerted that an earthquake occurred in Canada resulting in a Tsunami warning for the whole Hawaiian Islands. It was scary to hear this. We watched the news and the harbor (close to the airport) was supposed to be in a direct path of the tsunami wave at 10:28 pm. Evacuation of certain towns and closure of roads/beaches occurred for safety purposes.
My mom immediately decided to cancel my Sunday beach day.
The Tsunami was lifted Sunday morning.
We are very thankful no major damages occurred.
Mid-morning, we were assured that it was safe to go to the beach which means Sugar’s Sunday beach day resumes. WOOF! WOOF! and more WOOFS!
Oh! I was a very Happy Golden Dog.
There were many people walking on the beach. Lots were swimming and snorkeling too.

I heard on the news last night about the B.C. quake and the Tsunami warning for Hawaii. I was thinking about you my friend and I’m glad that nothing came of it. It’s nice to see you in the gentle waves this morning!

Wow. How scary for you. I’m glad the alert system worked properly though and relieved for you to have a good outcome. We on the East Coast of the mainland have been preoccupied with the hurricane so I hadn’t even heard about the tsunami scare. Enjoy the beach!
