Happy Holidays (Hau’oli Lanui) Merry Christmas (Mele Kalikimaka)

Wishing Everyone Happy Holidays.
We are celebrating 2012 Holidays in Maui, HI.
Hau’oli Lanui (pronounced how-oh-lay la-new-ee) is the Hawaiian word for Happy Holidays.

Mele Kalikimaka (pronounced may-lay ka-lee-key-ma-ka)
is the Hawaiian word for Merry Christmas.

 

We are going on a Holiday Break. Will be back on Jan 1st, 2013.

    I knew Mele Kalikimaka from the Jimmy Buffett version. Thanks for the pronunciation for Hau’oli Lanui, Sugar. I bet Hawaiian would be a very difficult language to learn.
