Show Your Dogs Paws with PawZ Dog Boots

January 13, 2014

When should you subject your dog to wear boots on their paws?
Wearing dog boots help protect your dog’s paws from harmful elements on the ground.

It’s almost a year since I started wearing PawZ dog boots. At that time, I had a very bad allergy wherein my pawpaws were cracked and surrounding skin were raw from licking. PawZ allowed me to continue to enjoy outdoors walks/plays. Even though it was a slow process, PawZ helped heal my cracked paws and raw skin. Also at that time, it was winter and PawZ protected my Golden Paws from the dangerous salty city sidewalks.
Sugar Wears PawZ Dog BootsMy first 3 photos wearing PawZ dog boots, February 2013.

Why PawZ? What makes PawZ so special?

Last year, it took my mom 10 days to find the suitable dog boots for my needs. PawZ are made with natural rubber, biodegradable. It is waterproof disposable and a reusable dog boot. “Would Sugar wear these boots?” My mom’s asked herself several times while on-line to purchase PawZ. Her biggest worry was if I would be able to keep them on. I sure did as PawZ were easy to put on. There are no zippers and/or straps. It’s like a balloon, very light that I’m able to feel the ground. My Golden PawZ are not constraint as PawZ allows me to have a full paw motion. PawZ dog boots are designed to be functional, to protect your dog’s paw health.

Due to my allergies and as a senior dog, I’ve been wearing PawZ all year long. It eliminated several medications and vet visits.

These boots are very practical. My Golden Retriever would enjoy having them. I already bought him the mutlook boots but they are heavy and he can only wears them in winter. 4 seasons boots what a wonderful thing.

I haven’t seen any dogs wearing them in person. If they sold them here, I’d probably buy some for my boys. Do they protect the feet from hot and cold too?

Mommy has been thinking about getting me some Pawz Dog Boots to see if it can help with my mobility (I have osteoarthritis in my hips which make getting up a little tricky on my bad days). But she’s worried my long furs might make it difficult to put them on or that our hot and humid weather might make it uncomfortable for me (I’ll be wearing it indoors, possibly for many hours).

    What do you think, Sugar?

Ma never ordered me any Pawz boots. I have been wearing my regular boots and the cloth boots that I wear to the hospital or doctor offices. Don’t want to pick up something off those floors that I can bring back into the house.
I want to participate in the contest so hopefully I can win a pair of purple boots like yours!

Sugar, I just LOVE my new PawZ! I posted about my big win from December today on my blog…I got a photo with them on as well as a silly video when I first tried to walk in them. We were surprised how easy they were to get on my paws and I started walking in them pretty quickly, since they are not thick and bulky (you know like regular boots).

I recommend everyone who wants (or even thinks they want) to try PawZ to enter your giveaway! It was the Golden best win for me!

Fantastic! So great that you, Sugr, are such a cooperative girl!

I haven’t been successful with these. Kessie won’t let me put anything on his paws. Livvie wore them on her front paws the other day, but hated them, and at a certain point she refused to walk!!!!! I had to take them off. I found them really hard to get on her. They only need to wear them in bad weather when there is ice or salt on the sidewalks.

I use Pawz for my dog. It sure helps keep out packed snow in his paws. Also keeps the horse poop off his feet when we walk in the park. I also use Pawz to protect my daughters wood floors when I take the dog to visit. Hard to put at first, but we are getting better at it.

  40. Coco says

    January 14, 2014 at 3:39 AM

Hi, my dog – Coco wear this and she felt comfortable and confident in wearing it. I have try many others boots is either the rubber too hard or the cloth type will be easily spoilt and get wet. Paws boots is the best i find it. But one point no good is – it always need two person to wear it. My dog breed is shit tze Bec the rubber is tight and after washing the rubber will stick together so after drying it, i will put them in the plastic bag with powder…so the next day when i need it, it will not be sticky. Well but still this is still the best ever Paw boots i like best. Love Pawz Boots best.

I wish I had these boots now.

My dog Tucker broke a toenail–actually tore the nail off. Every time I take him outside, we have to put a plastic bag over his foot so he doesn’t sink that exposed nail bed into the cold thick mud that’s everywhere this time of year-when it’s not frozen.

This is the first time I’ve seen a product reviewed that made me say, “Oh I want those!” Happy to join in the giveaway, though I think I’ll be looking for them online as well.

As the arctic cold and deep snow stay with us and the forecast calls for even colder weather and more snow, the fact that I had to run out and carry my deaf hound girl, Ran, in after just 2-3 minutes outside again today. It wasn’t nearly as cold as it’s been overnight and the sun was even out for a while, but the snow is holding the cold and poor Ran’s paws are just too sensitive. She’s s four years old and weighs 52 pounds. Luckily my other hounds, who are all bigger and weigh more than her, haven’t needed me to carry them in, although I have had to go out and coax my senior girl in before she DID have issues. We could really use a set of these.

I’m beginning to think the Polar Vortex is never going to leave, and the prediction for tomorrow is a low of -20 (with a possible wind chill as low as -50). More than ever my hounds could really use something like this.

I know my dog who needs paw protection most would do good with these, so I would love to win these. Thanks!

My Rosie hates getting her feet wet.. she will stand lifting one foot after another to try to keep them dry and warm. These could help her out on the cold winter Michigan winters!

I think I myself could’ve used these today, LOL! I’d settle for my dog using them, though. 😉

Sissy hates getting her little paws wet! Today was the first day in a week she didn’t fight me to walk.

I could really use several pairs of these with the Polar Vortex still hanging over us.

More than ever I really could use these for my dogs and thank you for the chance to win a pair. I have five Treeing Walker Coonhounds, and while four of them haven’t had too many problems with the extreme cold that just won’t let up, but my smallest dog, Ran, has really been having issues with her feet when the snow gets up between her pads. I need something to protect her feet.
