Today, January 24th is “Change a Pet’s Life Day”
More than 300 animal shelters and humane societies will slash adoption fees and offer other incentives to potential adopters in a nationwide event called “Change a Pet’s Life Day.” The main objective of this event is to draw and boost attention to many homeless pets in need of homes. To find out how to participate visit www.feedingisbelieving.com. If your family is unable to adopt, there are many avenues that they can participate in a meaningful way. A great way my family has pitched in the past is by supporting a local shelter and/or a humane society through volunteering and/or donating: money, food, toys, beds. Simply having the mere knowledge and awareness of this event makes a difference.

We are pleased to see you are trying to make a difference by supporting the Change a Pet's Life Day.
Perhaps we should have that in the UK.
