I took a break from playing in the snow this weekend and my family decided to visit a pet store. In the store, I had an opportunity to met Morty and Minnie and their family. They are from As Good As Gold Organization, a great non-profit organization that rescues, sets up foster care and adoption for abandoned or unwanted Golden Retrievers. Both Morty and Minnie are with loving families and enjoying the pet store social. Support these organization in your local area, as they provide a loving alternative to unfortunate dogs. Woof Woof!
Thats so cool Sugar! Thanks for the info!

Hi Sugar! It’s so sad to think of Golden Retrievers – or any nice doggies – who need homes and don’t have them. Thanks for reminding us about the good work these organizations do.
Your pal,
Joey
Hi Sugar
Sound like Good as Gold does a very good job in your area.
Nice for you to meet Morty and Minnie when you were out shopping. Hope you bought something nice too.

Its great to support the rescue organizations. I have seen so many dogs come here all needing help while I have been waiting for a home. I think John loves me too much to let me go.
Hey Sugar,
We do work for Almost Heaven golden retriever rescue and Santuary. Homer and Abby came from AHGRR and Sophie was supposed to be going there but somehow never made and kinda stayed here. Gordon, who was 10 years old when he came from AHGRR die a year ago at 15 years ol, he was totally blind since he was 7. You’re right about drop offs being way up and adoptions being down, it IS a problem We are having a Begathon this weekend for AHGRR at our blog; https://bumpasshounds.blogspot.com
