300th Blog Post! Tasty Treat: Apple Honey and Cinnamon Rings


Woof! Woof! It’s hard to believe that this is my 300th Post!
Great way to celebrate is to post a Tasty Treat.

What I LOVE about Fall are the fresh picked apples. We got lots of apples from our Michigan weekend trip.
How do you peel an apple?
There are 3 ways: 1) knife 2) swivel peeler 3) cool gadget
called Back To Basics Apple Peeler Corer Slicer

Back To Basics Peel Away is the fast and easiest way to peel, core, and slice an apple. Its suction-base instantly anchors to any smooth surface, ready to process apples and makes perfect ¼-inch thick slice.

To make Apple Honey and Cinnamon Rings
After peeling, separate the apple slices and placed it in a bowl. Depending how much apples you peeled, drizzle some honey and cinnamon powder. Placed it on a non-stick baking sheet pan. SilPat baking mat is great for cooking this recipe. In a 350 degree oven under Bake or Convention Bake setting, baked it for about 20 to 45 minutes, depending on how crispy you want.

Keep in mind the apple slices (rings) shrink when baked.
A tasty treat that both you and your dog will definitely ENJOY.
