Food Delivery

March 21, 2011

12 days ago a big box was delivered on my door and it’s for ME … Fooood! For the past months, we read lots of wonderful reviews about PetFlow, an online pet food delivery service. With the rising gas prices, the drive to the pet store adds up to the cost of purchasing my dog food. So we made a decision to try PetFlow’s service. Also, we ordered a 29.7 lb bag which covers the minimum cost for free shipping.
You have to place your order on PetFlow’s website which is super easy to use. You can view a list of all the food brands PetFlow carry. Just 3 simple steps to follow/place an order 1) Browse by brand 2) Find the item(s) 3) Set-up a delivery schedule / Buy / Checkout. Purchasing dog food through PetFlow’s user-friendly and intuitive website is truly hassle free. If anyone of you wants to try, you shouldn’t have any problems.

We did not set-up a scheduled delivery since this is our first time to buy a super huge bag of dog food. We were unsure of how long it would take me to finish it. PetFlow’s scheduled delivery options surely makes things easier and convenient for pet owners. No need to rush to the pet store and hauling heavy pet food. Next time we utilize Petflow will definitely select a delivery schedule.

Well we just have a suggestion to PetFlow in regards to their packaging method. PetfFlow uses a well known shipping company. They have delivered before in our home and we noticed similar issues when receiving the packages. It is understandable that they stack packages but they are unaware of the box damages. When we received the delivery from PetFlow the sides of the box are ripped (one side has a larger tear/hole). Luckily it was not snowing/raining and we have a covered breeze walk, my food did not get wet and/or damaged. Probably it will be helpful if PetFlow place additional tape on the 4 sides of the box to avoid breakage and provide protection. We just want to make sure our future order(s) will arrive safely on our doorstep.

Glad to share our purchasing experience with PetFlow.

WOW food delivered right to your doorstep! Now how COOL is that?! It would be awesome if Malaysia had a pet food delivery service too so that my hoomies don't have to rush out to look for new food! There have been couple of times when we ran out of food (because the hoomies were late to buy a new bag) so we had to eat just rice & boiled meat which we don't mind actually!!! Rive & meat is tasty.

I hope that foodable delivery works out for you. The humans will need to be careful of the cargo and make sure it is not damaged.

Of course we get those super sized bags of foodables all the time. Hehehe.

    Slobbers,

That would be very nice here too. We can go through 30 lbs. of food in about 27 or 28 days, so no problem for a bigger order for us. We will have to see if they have our food. Thanks for sharing. We too have noticed that a lot of boxes delivered here don't always arrive in very good condition either.

mama went and looked, and they sell me 'n asa's food! we eat canidae, and we go through a 35 lb. bag every 3ish weeks. our pet store is like 5 minutes from our house, so it's not too inconvenient to go there, but it's nice to know about petflow, too!
