Many of you read my Wednesday post, Chores:LDD.
Well, I spent my weekend to do YW Chores Yard Work.
Our gardener Mark and his crew came over during the weekday.
Just like last year, they aerate my lawn …
Well, once again lots of odd stuffs (poop-like) came out of my lawn.
A safety warning to everyone …
not all mulch are safe for dogs particularly cocoa mulch.
I’ve been a victim of ingesting cocoa mulch.
It was not fun and very fortunate I survived.
Since then, we’ve used Black Forest Fine Textured Mulch. It’s like dirt and blends well. Most importantly, it is all natural and is not treated with colorants, pesticides, fungicides or pre-emergents.
We’re suppose to get some rain this week.
It will be an excellent weather for all of our yard work.
Lots of Golden Woofs,
Way to help out Sugar! Finding treasures I see 😀 Glad your pawrents get the good "green" mulch! 😀 Have fun in the yard 🙂

Hey Sugar!
Wow, you're a great yard helper! Best to stay close when people are working in our territory…they need supervision! Great tip about the mulch. I'll be sure to tell Mom. Enjoy the weather!
Grr and Woof,

We are aching to do some yard work. First the snow has to melt. Ugh!!!

Sugar you do eat some bad things sometimes don't you. I think you should always check with your mom before you eat anything 🙂 Good job on the yard work though
My Dad just did ours! I did my part, barked at him when he was out in front of the house! Billy
Our boys help out too, but I think Dad would prefer they didn't!

Sugar, you are such a great helper. I hope you got tons of cookies after all that hard work!
You're a great helper! My boys like to "help" too but mostly they just get in the way! bol
You sound like a great helper Sugar. We like to help M.O.M.too but it is just to much fun to grab the sticks and clumps of grass she has pulled up and run and run with them in our mouths. She puts up with it for awhile but she helps us get distracted pretty quickly!
Hugs and wags, Mistaya and Maggie and M.O.M. Gail
Good PSA on that cocoa mulch, Sugar and we are so sorry it made you sick once. Mom would love to have that dark forest mulch but Dad still loves the red look.
Ciara says she would love to be a part of the YW crew:)
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
You are a beautiful gardner's helper! Yes, we have posted about cocoa mulch and about toxic plants on today's post as a matter of fact. Sure glad you were OK after ingesting the mulch. We have to be so careful this time of year of those beautiful yards…they sure can be dangerous to pets!
Today is our first nice day & I'm loving it. It's all the way up to 80 degrees in one day! It looks like you are a big help in the garden and that's really good to know about the mulch.
Nubbin wiggles,
Oskar
We've heard all about that cocoa mulch, Sugar. Mom says it smells good enough to eat but it can be deadly so steer clear!
Love ya lots
Maggie and Mitch
Sugar!
I can see you worked very hard on your garden!
Good job!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
Sugar, great work on the lawn! We didn't know that about the mulch…thanks! We were outside today doing the poo pickup duty for the lawn guys who do not like running their mowers through it! Lots of love, Debbie and Holly
Interesting to learn what you people are doing through each season. That is one thing we love about visiting blogs…we get to learn a lot of things. Hope you get some rain for your yard work.
You has such a green paw, Sugar. :o)
Sugar,
You are a 'GGG', good golden gardener! Keep up the good work!!
Wyatt
Looks like you have things all under control, Sugar! Maybe next time I'll help my daddy when he works in the backyard. 🙂

Sugar, if you need extra yard work, please swing by our house 🙂
Miss Sugar, we had to come back today. Our mom loves the picture of you with your garden glove. So happy.
Tucker and Daisy
hey Sugar,
You sure are a busy dog! Do you get an allowance of treats for all your good hard work? ;->
Good info on the mulch, thanks for the safety tip! And so furry happy you survived your mulch scare.
Suka
You were on the job Sugar. That mulch business is scary stuff. Mom went with white rocks instead due to the pug-that-eats-anything. Don't work too hard!
Kitty and Coco
That is great info Sugar. Thanks for that. I bet you were a super help in the yard. It is good to know about that mulch. Hope you have a great week.
