I know it’s Wordless Wednesday but …
my WW Photo deserve “words” especially when it involves Oprah.
Last Wednesday, May 25th Oprah ended her 25 year talk show.
Her show ended eloquently. There were no giveaways, surprises and guests. Just simply Oprah, stating her Thank You Love Letter of Lessons to her audience. Oprah has touched many lives including us.
It’s been a ritual after my morning walk/activities, we watch the Oprah show. Watching the last show brought us both sadness and happiness.
Oprah was very compelling delivering her
Thank You Love Letter of Lessons
Just in case you missed it, we want to share it …
1) Be Yourself.
2) Live from the heart of yourself. Know what sparks the light in you so that in your own way can illuminate the world. Start embracing the life that is calling you and use your life to serve the world.
3) Nobody but yourself is responsible for your life. All life is energy.
You are responsible for your own energy and what you bring to others.
Be reminded that, “Everything you’ve done to others you already done to yourself.”
4) You are Not Alone.
5) There’s a common ground among us and that is worthiness.
You are worthy because you are born and because you are here.
Your being here, your being alive makes worthiness your birthright.
Your being here, your being alive makes worthiness your birthright.
6) Everyone share a common desire of validation. Everyone wants to be heard. Do it with an open mind and heart. Validate others … “I see you, I hear you and what you say matters to me.”
7) Presence (Flow) of GOD is always there speaking to you through whispers. Be still and know it. God is LOVE and LIFE. Your life is always speaking to you … the whispers in your life. Pay attention to the whispers. Hear it and know what it says?
8) Be a safe harbor to others.
Connect, embrace, liberate, love somebody and spread it.
Connect, embrace, liberate, love somebody and spread it.
Wishing you OPRAH Lots of Golden Best on your OWN Network.

I used to watch Oprah every single day, but since my work got in the way- haven't watched in a while. She's moving onward and upward!!

I agree that there will be MANY who will Miss Oprah.
Sugar,
I can tell from that pic how much you've enjoyed watching Oprah, but isn't it nice she can have a bit of a rest now after all these years, even though she's got her OWN network, which is pawsome, at least she's gonna still be around – yay!
Have a fun day,
Your pal Snoopy 🙂
I think everyfur is going to miss Oprah. Great post, pal.

These should be Golden Rules of Life. Thanks for sharing them and Happy Blog Hopping! 🙂
Fun post!
Yes, it was a classy ending after the wild 2 day party earlier that week. How hard it must have been to surprise Oprah.
I only wish her new network would be available to all and not just those who can afford to pay for it.
Happy Wonderful Wednesday – I know I will miss O as well… Wishing her the best with her OWN *smile*

We will miss her too and we loved how she picked up her Sadie at the end of that show!
Mommy hasn't watched her show for a long while now, but it's hard for her to imagine her not having a show. For me… I don't know who she is, but I'm sure she's very nice. 🙂
Happy Wednesday woofs & hugs,
~Bailey
Sugar, thanks so much for sharing this! I was in Florida for the last Oprah show so I missed it. I especially like 'know what sparks the light in you so that in your own way you can illuminate the world'. We all have that light within, thanks for the reminder!
Thank you Sugar for such a great tribute to Oprah! We will definitely miss her! Lots of love, Holly & Mom
Glad you enjoyed her show. We don't have television so I don't have a clue.
Have a terrific day Sugar. 🙂
Mom used to watch Oprah a lot, but with the grandkidlets here, it hasn't been so easy to see. We hope there will be a rerun of her last show. That letter is just beautiful.
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
I wasn't able to see the last episode and felt bad about it but now I don't have to!
Thanks for sharing this.
I never watched the Oprah show much but my daughter was a huge fan. This was a lovely goodbye to her though
I watched the first few minutes of her last show, but then had to go do something, so I'm glad you gave a recap. It will definitely be different without a new Oprah show on every afternoon at 4:00 (here, at least).
I see they're just playing reruns for now…I wonder how long they'll keep showing them?
Elyse and Riley
P.S.–Glad you got the magazine!
hehe! Very cute!
