Wagging Tail PAW★Star Moment

June 27, 2011

Does your dog wag his/her tail?
I do wag my tail … actually all the time.
What does it mean when a dog wags his/her tail?

A dog uses his/her tail as an essential tool of communication.
It is the duty of a dog owner to know and determine what his/her dog wagging tail means.

It is very common for many to assess a wagging tail as an excited happy friendly dog. I send these messages all the time when I wag my tail. Most dogs accompany a wagging tail with a verbal vocalization and/or body parts movements. In this case, I accompany my wagging tail with my ears up, bright eyes and Lots of Golden Woofs.

Recently, we were interviewed by Nestle, who owns a subsidiary company called Nestle Purina. Actually, it was last year October 2010. We actually made a “Shhhh” blog post, Click here to read it.  Well, it happened … our interview entitled “What Gets Your Best Buddy’s Tail Wagging?”  was published in “WagWorld”.

There were four dog owners that were interviewed for the article.
My bloggie friend Dog Blogging with Luna was also part of the article.

Here’s a “snippet” of the article … basically of our interview.
… just like her name would suggest, one of the best ways to get on a 9 year old Sugar sweet side is to offer her a dog treat … loves getting a dog toy stuffed with treats. The only thing that makes Sugar’s tail work as hard as the promise of a treat is the sound of her mom coming home. That merits a “full body wag” on Sugar’s part …
★A PAW Star Golden Moment★ for my mom and I.
Lots of Golden Woofs,
