Many of you have seen my Wordless Wednesday Photo: Tasty. It looks like this …
Tasty! I give my Doggie Chef 4 Golden PAWS.
Here’s the recipe … ENJOY!
Berry Banana Honey Oats Dog Treats
2 1/2 cups of flour
1 1/2 cups of oats
1 cup of Blueberries
1 banana
~ 2 tablespoon of Honey
1 1/3 cup of water (in this recipe we use 1/3 pineapple juice)
1/4 Vegetable Oil
Combine and stir all the ingredients. Adjust flour and liquid as necessary to make stiff dough. Roll the dough on a floured surface. Cut it with a dough cutter. Place on un-greased cookie sheet (we always use silpat). Bake for 45 -1 hour in 350 degree oven until thoroughly dry. For extra crunchy, leave the treats inside the oven to cool-off.
Option: Many of you have send us an email in regards being frustrated having a good dough. Here’s a suggestion … Place the dough on a parchment paper. Refrigerate it for about 3 hours or overnight. You’ll find it easy to roll out the dough.
Lots of Golden Thanks.
Have an enjoyable Tasty Tuesday.

Those treats look almost good enough to eat for myself and I probably would have to because I have the most pickiest 10 pounder ever. He does not do biscuits and I've tried LOL
I read the ingredients to all 3 of my babies and they're drooling! lol! I'll definitely be making these for my Roxy, Rambo and Rocket. Thanks Sugar!
Oh Sugar those treats look super tasty!! We know momma's got some good organic blueblerries hiding in the freezer. Maybe we'll talk her into making some of these treats!
Yanno we are going to have to start demanding homemade treats!
the 2 brown dawgs
The Four Woos sent us over. We're cats in Malaysia so we don't eat bones but if you substitute fish for flour, then we're all for it! Paws and purrs from Au, Target and Guido.
Dear Sugar, My Dad is too busy to bake dog goodies (he says Golf is more important, I don't agree). I am almost out of punkin treats and I'm not sure I can last until Halloween. Please make me some, cause I'm sure the world may come to an end if the punkin bowl is empty.
Drooling with anticipation,
Your Big Red friend, Easton
Another awesome recipe! Thanks so much for sharing. 🙂
Another healthy dog treat, thanks for sharing.
First of all, let me thank you for this terrific recipe which I intend to utilize as soon as I can get myself to the store and buy the ingredients.
My 2 Shih Tzu boys are rather picky about food and treats. So if they decide not to eat these, I most certainly will.
One word – YUMMMMMMY! Thanks for sharing!
These treats look so delicious. I wonder if my dog would like them. My dog doesn't eat fruits so I'm not sure if he would like this.
