My nose certainly knows where the Tasty Treats are in my house.
Well, actually it is everywhere in my house particularly in the kitchen.
1) My nose knows when the refrigerator is open. Lots of Tasty food inside but not everything is good for me. I usually go and sit by the fridge if I want some cheese.
2) My nose knows where are the Cookie Jars! Yes, jars (with an s). These jars are placed on one of the corners of the kitchen counter.
My favorite spot/corner of the kitchen to hang out. I often sit with my stuffing toy and wait for Tasty cookies.

3) My nose knows when the pantry special drawers are open. These are Sugar’s Paw House Wheat-Free Tasty Treats.
Do you see the License Plate?
That’s my Golden Friend, Lady. The license plate was given to me by her dad, KT. Lady sadly passed away last March 2011. You can click here to check out KT’s blog who recently adopted another Golden name Easton.
Every time mom opens these drawers, I get to see Lady’s face.
Lady loved our Pumpkin Bones. For sure Easton will love it too.
A Golden Nose Knows.
We did lots of googling about dog’s nose and learned a lot.
We want to share some of the 5 FUN Facts About A Dog’s Nose.
1) A dog sense of smell is 1000 times more sensitive than of humans.
2) The average dog has 200 to 250 million scent receptors in their nose. Humans have approximately 5 million scent receptors.
3) The dog collects scents by air-scenting and sniffing the ground.
4) The dog’s nose is a powerful organ and one of the most dynamic of all animal systems. It can detect basic sense of fear and emotions.
5) A dog’s nose is not just used for smelling, but also to keep cool.
Have you ever played the Nose Game?
It’s FUN and easy …
1) Stuff your dog’s toy with a Tasty Treat.
2) Let your dog sniff the toy/tasty treat.
3) Ask your dog to “Stay.”
4) Hide the toy with Tasty Treat.
5) Command you dog, “Go Find it.”

Very cute and clever, Sugar. We have very smart noses here too. And our ears are pretty good as well at detecting the sound of the ice cream box opening, the cookie cabinet door ajar, and the food bowls. The humans could learn a lot from us:)
