In the kitchen … checking what’s for dinner.
I am on a diet, lately no tasty treats for me.
How can you resist this Golden Face?
Woof! Woof!
Mom saved some butternut squash for me.
Butternut Squash is a winter squash, loaded with vitamins and fiber. It is great for baking.
Yes I am on a diet …
so mom is making me a very simple healthy treat, Roasted Butternut Squash Chips.
Mom used the Apple Peeler and Corer to cut the Butternut Squash.
Simply Place the Butternut Squash rings on a non stick baking mat and roast it in a 300 degree for ~20-30 min (depending on the thickness).
We set our oven to convection bake.
Just a note … when roasted it shrinks in size.
Mmmm Tasty!

hey Sugar,
Excellent question! How can any one resist your beautiful Golden Face?! I can't!! :->
You look fabulous so I can't believe you need to be on a diet. Sorry. But, those Squash Chips look delicious! I think I could eat an entire bowl! Your mom is great about making you such yummy treats! Enjoy! And thanks for sharing the recipe!

Lindy might not get any butternut fries, her mom and dad love butternut squash a LOT.
Her mom is thinking, however, this might be a good way to make homemade yam fries. MMM good. And Lindy does love yam. The apple peeler/corer would make it so easy.
Thanks, Sugar!

I even want some of these! Sugar, you are such a lucky pup!!!! give Momma a cold nose nudge and a big thank you lick!
Sugar, That looks SO yummy!!
Mom was wondering if you could do that to them – she usually ends up having to throw away half of the squash since she is the only one that eats it!

These are wonderful ideas for treats thank you sugar from:Owen
My mommy would like to ask your mommy a question here I’ll give her the phone”I never knew that dogs could eat fruit or yogurt so I’m very excited because our dog has allergies so we don’t give him any bones or bacon strips or any dog treats I used to give him cut up cooked sweet potatoes that were cold in the refrigerator I give Him about six little squares and that was all he got for a treat so we tried it today and he loves the parfait bone treat. I had another question is there a difference between raw honey and clover honey it says it’s 100% honey or does it have to say raw honey”. Hey sugar I’m back. My mommy is just really nervous because I have a skin allergy and I have some dandruff problem don’t tell anybody okay it’s kind of Embarrassing. Thanks again for the great food Treats. Woof woof arf arf, woof Owen
