Last week was just my 1st week back from my long holiday break
and mom took me to the VET, twice …
3 Reasons for my VET Visits
1) It’s a follow up from my previous visit. Click Here to read my blog post.
I had my “inside” photographs again.
2) Its about my Weight Loss and Senior Diet.
Guess What? I’ve lost more weight and I’ve attained my ideal Senior Weight. What does it mean? I can have more food and treats …. Oh NO! My mom said I have to maintain my ideal Senior Weight which means that I have to continue the same amount of food and treats I’ve been getting lately. Not sure if this is GOOD because I prefer to have extra food and treats.
3) Blood Test … Imagine! I had to fast for 12 hours and got poked.
At the end, all is well and I was given lots of tasty chewy treats.
Lots of Golden Woofs

We are so glad that your vet visits turned out so well Sugar!! It is scary for us to go to the vet…not something we are very happy doing…but sometimes it is necessary. Keep up the good work!!

Hey Sugar!
Wow, congrats on the weight goal! That’s a really hard one to do and I bet you got lots of nice scritches after that nasty dogtor appoinment. Glad it went well for you. 🙂

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR WEIGHT MANAGEMENT!! I am so glad that you got such a grrrreat report.
Oh, how I hate the vet! I can’t believe that you had to fast and then get poked for blood! Grrrrrr. Mom has had me on a diet as well, per vet instructions, again…grrrrrr! It’s working, but I have been pretty unhappy about the lack of food and snacks!!

Congrats to you on the weightloss, Sugar! That’s really impressive. The hard part for me is always maintaining it. I know you’ll do well though.
Glad you got good news at the vet’s office. My little boys will be going soon for their annual shots. Shhh, don’t tell them! bol

Congratulations on the weight loss! The weight just doesn’t want to come off of me but Mom says it’s because Dad won’t stop giving me treats. Glad your checkup turned out so well!
🙂
Glad to hear it went well! 🙂
We’re glad your vet visits were good Sugar! We hope you get more treats from time to time!
I feel your pain. Being a senior dog myself, I have to endure those tests and watch my food intake.
Good to hear everything is A ok.
Glad to hear all is well Sugar. Have to keep your senior self healthy. 🙂
Sugar, your Momma has done a great job helping you get those lbs off. I know it is no fun, but as we age, these things happen. I bet you still get treats, just a bit smaller and healthier.
Way to go Sugar and Momma.
Pshew, Sugar. It’s tough waiting for those results, but all I can say is YAY! You go, girl!!
Great Job on the Senior weight management! I know how hard that must be, but it IS for our own good! I go to the vet Wednesday and I usually am shakin’ pretty good by the time we get in the door! YIKES!
You are a pro though and I can see that it might not be so bad.
You sure are a beauty!
A visit to the Vet full of good news!
I am very happy for you!
Kisses and hugs
