My favorite fruit treat are bananas.
Here in Hawaii the popular bananas are called Apple Bananas that are locally grown.
We have plenty of banana trees on our property.
Apple Banana fruit trees were believe to have been introduced in Hawaii 1955 from Tahiti.
It’s sweet flavor is the result of the rich volcanic soil and ideal Hawaiian climate.
Apple Bananas are firmer and creamier.
It is also soft and starchy.
The flavor is absolutely different from other bananas.
The size is also smaller, perfect for snacks.
Definitely Tuesdays Just Got Tastier.
