For the past weeks, I’ve been watching the banana trees on our property.
First, it started to have a flower.
Then, the bananas appear and curl up towards the light.
Most recently, it turns into a bunch of bananas.
Mmmmm, It’s not ready to pick …
We have 3 banana trees having bunch of bananas.
I can’t wait …

Sugar, I had no idea how bananas were born–I thought they just came from the stork, I mean STORE! 🙂
Enjoy your beautiful Tuesday!!!
Hi Sugar! I am a friend of Pixel Blue Eyes. I found your site tyhrough her. Even though I/WE run a dog daycare and boarding for small dogs we do get an occasional Golden Retriever. Momma Jean says Goldens are great dogs. I must agree. I also have a book out. It’s on Amazon OR your can check out my web site for the book. http://www.adoggydaycareday.com Momma Jean and I checked out some of your you tube videos too. You have a very deep bark. I bet you could really scare off a bad person. Momma Jean says your are a lucky dog because you live in Hawai. She said the weather is pretty pleasant there. Must run off and check on our daycare dogs. Bye for now, M.J.
Oh yummy! I’d love to have fresh picked bananas!
Sam

Hey Sugar, Jet here.
Guess what? Those bananas are WORTH the wait. We have that type here in the tropics as well. We call them “apple bananas”… if yours are similar, they will be a little drier than the usual kind with a little apple taste to them. Oh they are YUMMY… You can freeze them, too. 🙂 Our friend Ish (see today’s post) feeds them to his chickens and goats and K9s (come to think of it)… maybe that’s why they’re so happy. 🙂
I go bananas for bananas
