There are mango trees everywhere.
It’s not in full season but there are many mangoes ready to eat.
Our friend who lives on the west side brought us some in the shop.
These mangoes are special as it is grown on their front yard.
They are mini mangoes and smell good.
It does not look ripe but it is … let’s see.
Mom says there’s a “myth” adding Hawaiian mangoes specifically in your diet can help you loose weight. Hawaiian mangoes are high in dietary fiber. It helps you feel fuller longer and prevent you from overeating.

We have a lot of mangoes here too… and my cow and i both mangoes. We even have a mango tree in the garden… but it produce very small mangoes.. that can be used for pickles. I am so happy you are in Hawaii… you are getting lotta lotta nice waves and fruits!

Oh, boy do we LOVE mangoes. We have about 15 hanging on our tree ripening as we speak! This will be our 2nd harvest. Mom panted an Asian variety called Nam Doc Mai, because they do not have stringy things when you inhale… I mean eat them!
Mom even makes mango ketchup!

Mommy says mangoes taste yummy. She loved all the fresh fruit that was available when they were in Hawaii.

My MOM loves mangos. But she does have a hard time picking a ripe one out.

Mom and Popps love mangos and we’ve tried so hard to grow them here. But they don’t last very well in Central Florida. Need to get further south…………….or maybe move to Hawaii!
