Last Monday I posted this photo.
Here’s what happened …
My favorite day of the week, Beach Day!!!
As always, it’s sunny, another gorgeous day at the beach.
I jumped into the ocean to retrieve my toy. I drank some ocean water as I come to the shore.
I ran to the sand and stuck my head … I ate about a spoonful of sand.
I was gagging for a while as mom tried to take out the sand and … I swallowed it.
See it’s all gone!
Not sure what was I thinking … it is the same beach/sand I’ve been going for the past 5 months.
Somehow I just had the urge to do something unusually silly.
Yes, I did hear my mom many times, “NO! Sugar …”
her last words were … “Lets see what happens in the next 30 minutes …”
I was having lots of Golden FUN. I swam about half a mile already.
Then … I didn’t feel well. I did not even retrieve my toy.
Oh! I don’t feel well …
had to rest …
rested but had to walk half a mile to the car.
As I walked the white sandy beach, I kept on stopping to relieve myself.
It was yuckyyyyy….
Golden Apology for what I’ve done …
Lots of Golden L♥VE n Woofs
SUGAR
We forgive you, Sugar!
Sam

oh my you naughty girl … sugar pie don’t do that again …
LOL! I love these pictures!
That was very bad all right, hope you learned not to do that again. Hope you are all better now though, it’s no fun to be sick! Were you trying to get something good that was buried in the sand??
oh no, you poor Sugar, i hope next time you listen to mommy, Jake has not eaten sand, but he did eat a frog that came back up and a whole avocado that caused the same problem you had.
Poor girl! Hope you remember this next time you visit the beach!
Aww… poor Sugar. We’ve been there before except with lake water. I’d like to tell your Mom you may have learned from your mistake and won’t do it again next time… but I fear you may forget and get too “in the moment” and gulp seawater with a side of sand!
Our fingers are crossed for you!
Guess you just have to be careful what you eat! Remember, it has to come out somewhere!!
Doggy Kisses,
Tanner
Oh Sugar, I hope you are ok now. Moms are always right but we just never want to listen to them.
I have never been to the beach(salt water) before but mom said she wants to plan for a trip next year.
Hugs,
June
Oh Sugar! My Lily ate sand. She coughed up a little sand castle. No more drinking that stuff Sugar cause it makes you thirstier. Nutty

BOL happens to the best of us!
Nola
I know I shouldn’t laugh but.. heck! AHAHAHAHAHA! Too funny! Love your expression!
Glad you had a great time at the beach!
Love,
Homer
We think it is all OK, Sugar. Sometimes you have to do something the wrong way to learn how to do it the right way. We are going to guess you don’t drink THAT water again. Hope you are feeling all better now.
Woos – Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Sugar, I had no idea this could happen!! I know that you’re a lady and you would have avoided it if you could, but if you gotta go, well, you just gotta go and forget your manners! Hope you’re feeling good today!!! 🙂
oh Sugar..that really wasn’t so bad..poopin;’ sand would be no fun though..
hope your tummy is feeling better?
These things happen, Sugar. No apology is necessary.
Love ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
Oh no Sugar. I sure hope you are OK now. Let’s just say I am sure it won’t happen again. I know this is a silly thought, but, is your toy still in the ocean? I could send Bert over to get it for you. Keep smilin’ beautiful girl.
Blessings,
Goose
Oh no Sugar! We will remember this story so we never do this. We think you are forgiven though!
OH MY GOODNESS SUGAR!! FIRST OF ALL BLESS YOUR SWEET LITTLE HEART YOU MUST HAVE BEEN IN A GOLDEN MOMENT OF BLISS. AS FOR EATING SAND AND DRINKING OCEAN WATER THEN THE UNMENTIONABLE…LET’S JUST SAY YOU RECYCLED EVERYTHING.
I HOPE AND PURR YOU ARE MUCH MUCH MORE MINDFUL OF THE TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS OF
SAND AND SALT NEXT TIME
HUGS YOUR bfff
MADI
You won’t do that again Sugar. I just know you won’t. You’ve learned a great lesson too. We all forgive you because we love you.
Have a woof woof day Sugar. My best to your wonderful mom. 🙂
Sugar I am glad you are ok but you missed a GOLDEN opportunity for this to be your Mischief Monday post! BOL!
Awww Sugar, you’re a brave girl to admit when you’re wrong. I usually will avoid that at all costs. I’ve never eaten sand (maybe when I was really little….once….OK, a habit I kicked) . When you gotta go, you gotta go right? Hope your toy didn’t just float away….if it did, let me know and I’ll keep an eye open for it over here (Canada). Golden Woofs to ya buddy.
The point is, you enjoyed yourself while you were doing, you learned that it wasn’t such a great idea after all and you are sorry and have learned your lesson. With that adorable sandy nose there’s no way you couldn’t be forgiven 🙂
We’re glad you’re okay after eating sand and drinking ocean water! We bet you didn’t know what was happening but hopefully you don’t ever eat sand again. Purrs to you Sugar!
Oh Sugar, I sure hope you’re all better! Hugs from all of us!
Oh, Sugar, you are what you are – a cutie pie!!!!! So glad it didn’t make you sick!!!
Sugar, I’m so surprised at you. Eating sand is like eating……Metamucil! Have you been banned from the beach now??? Hope your tummy is feeling all better!
Looks like you really enjoyed doing that!
But…. the result was not the best, right?
I hope you are feeling better!
Take care
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
I figured…but it’s OK. We all make silly mistakes!
Oh my Sugar! We are so sorry that you accidentally ate some ocean water and sand! And then…had an accident on the beach. We are sure that you are forgiven. Hope you are feeling better and that you won’t be indulging in any of that yucky stuff! xoxo Chloe and LadyBug
Woof to you Sugar!!!! Well, that definitely sounds like a most unpleasant and uncomfortable ordeal. I’m gotten myself into similar situations many times before ….. funny how curiosity can bite you in the behind. My assistant love the look on your face in the last photo. Much love to you Sugar – XXOO – Mazzie
Oh noes! Well, at least you won’t do THAT again! We alls do silly stuffs like that sometimes! We have to keep our peeps on their toes!
Kisses,
Ruby
Darn it, Sugar, I do the same thing (well, not eating the sand). That salt water just doesn’t like our systems, does it? And I’ll probably do it again…..
Sugar,
we can tell by the look on your face you will not do that again.
Just keep smiling it looks so good on you.
