Where did we get the PUMPKIN?
We are very fortunate that there’s a country farm nearby, known for their Pumpkin Patch
I am Golden Happy to visit but …
I stayed in the car. Mom left the sunroof open so I can see part of the farm.
KAPU is a Hawaiian word that means forbidden and/or stay out.
We visited Kula Country Farms, a 4th generation family farm.
It is located on the slopes of Haleakala in Kula Maui, Hawaii.
KULA means ‘open meadows’ in Hawaiian.
Best produced are grown in Kula due to its cool climate and rich soil.
Kula Country Farm is famous for their Fall PUMPKIN patch.
It is a popular attraction for local families and visitors of the island.
Lots of pumpkins and you get to pick your own.
Amazing view. On a clear sunny day, you will see a bi-coastal view of Maui, HI.
As always, mom enjoyed taking photos of flowers particularly the Sunflowers.
It was a lovely place to visit and makes us remember Fall season.
If you plan to visit Maui, HI during Fall season (late September – October) make sure to take some time to visit Kula Country Farms. They have a produce stand where you can purchase other fresh vegetables, fruits and flowers. They also have a food trailer truck on site.
Hope you enjoyed another edition of Sugar’s Golden Tours, Kula Maui, HI

Beautiful sunflowers! What a lovely place to visit, Sugar. (even though dogs aren’t allowed) Thanks fur takin us along. XOXO
It looks like a beautiful place to visit. If they met you once, Sugar, they would start allowing puppy dogs. 🙂
You are irresistible! Happy Fall to you!
How fun!
We are positive that if they met you, Sugar, they would change that policy!! What a beautiful place to visit!! We especially love the sunflowers!! So pretty!! xoxo Chloe and LadyBug
What a beautiful place! Too bad you weren’t allowed in but at least you got to sneak a peak!
What a pretty place. Sorry they don’t allow dogs. We went to a festival last weekend that was very dog-friendly. Our dog won a free spa day when my oldest son spun a prize wheel! He is looking forward to it, even though he’s a farm dog 😉
OMDs Sugar…Hawaii pumpkins are ten times brighter than mainland pumpkins.
I’m 100% sure had the farm owners KNOWN Sugar was on site they would have let you in ’cause you are so very well behaved but at least you had a dog’s eye view out the sun roof.
Hugs Madi your BFFF
i like the new word… Kapu… love that word. and those sunflowers are calling my name

Hi Sugar, I’ve only been up to that mountain once-to see the sunrise. I will have to remember it and go there when we come back to your island. Love your mom photos. Hope you have a wonderful evening.

Well it looks like a very nice pumpking farm but no pets? That just doesn’t seem right 🙂
Now that looks like an amazing pumpkin patch and farm to check out! Those photos look incredible! Too bad they didn’t allow you to come and have a sniff too! I’m sure it’s because of dogs like me though…who choose to sniff and tinkle on them! 😉
Beautiful farm, too bad you couldn’t check it out. Hailey and Zaphod
I sure wish I could have tagged along on that pumpkin patch visit. That looks like a lot of fun. Too bad you weren’t able to enjoy it with your mom.
Happy Howloween!
Love the pumpkins and the sunflowers! What a neat place to visit!
That is a great pumpkin patch. Your flower photos are so vibrant and pretty too.
Now I feel really worthless, Sugar! You can grow pumpkins in Hawaii, but I didn’t even try in Nebraska. Lol.
