I know most of you do not like to take a bath.
For me a bath after a swim in the ocean is a must.
It is also necessary and important to have a refreshing bath.
A month ago I was fortunate to have an opportunity to review a Neem soap bar by Organix South. Click Here to read it. I had 4 baths and there’s still some left for 1 more bath. It is our first time to use a soap bar and LOVE it. What we like the most is that with water applied on my fur the bar soap quickly lathers.
Organix South also sent me a 2 oz sample of their Neem Therape liquid shampoo.
Just had to give it a try.
I had to dampen my fur with water before applying the liquid shampoo.
It does not lather as much as the soap bar. I also used all the 2 oz liquid shampoo.
As always my eyes were avoided.
A neck and head massage sure feels good.
My favorite part …
It seems that using the liquid shampoo I needed additional rinsing.
It’s okay, I LOVE the rinsing portion of my bath,
Just curious … What do you use to bathe your dog, Bar Soap or Liquid Shampoo?

We use liquid soap, but I might check out some bar soap. Jeffie and Rudy hate baths, so less rinsing would be a good thing!
liquit shampoo, did not even know they make bar soap, will have to check that out
Hey Sugar, Jet here.
As we previously mentioned, Mom uses their toothpaste and loves it.
We use liquid shampoo, however, you made their bar shampoo sound awfully intriguing (VBP – vocab builder project).
We’re just finishing Barkology’s shampoo and will return to Buddy Wash.
We use liquid – it seems to go quite a bit farther. I may have to try their shampoo.

Our groomer does all of Little Bits baths. I haven’t a clue what she uses, but Little Bit loves her so I’m guessing it’s something very nice.
Have a woof woof day Sugar. My best to your parents. 🙂
I’ve found the same with using bar soap…I think it’s my preference. Although I use liquid when Sage gets a bath outdoors. Now that winter is around the corner, Sage will be back in the tub with the bar soap.
We use a liquid soap here but would love to try out a bar sometime, it sounds really cool.
You know Boomer and Dottie don’t exactly like the bath part as much as the drying off process. Getting a full body rub down w/ a towel is their idea of heaven!
You look MUCH happier about your bath than I do! We use liquid shampoo.
Oh, Sugar, you look so happy and content snuggling in the blanket after your bath…. I have to give Weezie one today too 😉 Have a great weekend sweet girl 🙂
MOM uses a liquid shampoo on me. I do not take as many baths as you Sugar. But I really don’t mind them. Of course I like romping and getting dirty more. But being clean mean I can be on the couch and bed. So I gives baths 1 paw up.
Blessings,
Goose
The reason why we never had carpets, wet dogs and streams and the sea side do not mix… 🙂 GOOD TO SEE YOU SUGAR… looking as always, as beautiful as ever XXXXXXXXXX
Sugar don’t mention bath time it is a forbidden word in my house. However you look like you are enjoying it. Have a super Saturday.
Best wishes Molly
Very interesting, Sugar. We would have expected the liquid to lather more than the bar We understand the need for a bath after being in the ocean. And you get the added benefit of looking great and smelling terrific.
Happy weekend.

Oh, that bathie sure looked refreshin’!! And you gets it a’natural….I have to have mines in the tub…I like your bath spot much betters!! Ma uses liquid shampoo, mostly because it’s really easy to get on me, since I only tolerate a bath for so long befores I try to jump out.
Kisses,
Ruby
Oh Sugar that was a most enjoyable and descriptive post on your bath…I think I would even enjoy a bath like that. I especially liked the massage you got with the soap and with the drying.
Hugs madi your BFFF
Hey Sweet thang….as far as I know I’m unopposed for the job of Mayor…well that is unless there is someone I haven’t heard about. I think I was the only one willing to walk in Frankie’s Paws.
MOL
If there is a vote I don’t know about it.
Hugs Madi the first Feline Female Mayor of Blogville
I hate baths! I run around and do zoomies like crazy when I get out of the bathroom.
You said earlier that you had some questions for me. Feel free to drop me a line anytime at PBU at comcast dot net.

Hey, I see a wet Sugar! Very cute pix. I’m not a bath fan, but the soaps sound nice.

You sure like your baths Sugar! We’ve never had one but our sisfur Sadie hated them and let everyone within a 5 mile radius know it. Aloha!
Nice! Looks like some good shampoo. You look a little despondent about the bath, though Sugar. But I bet getting to play in the ocean makes the trouble worth it. :0)
Baths suck, but thanks for telling us about this shampoo! lee and Phod
We use liquid but the bar is interesting!
I just visited your craft tutorials page. Very nice!
My daddy says he wishes I liked baths as much as you do!
Love the bath time photos!
