Taking supplements are necessary and beneficial for health benefits.
I’ve taken supplements due to my allergies and it has helped tremendously.
As a Senior Dog, I continue to take these supplements and one of them is Omega 3.
My mom mixes the Omega 3 Oil with my dry food.
We have tried many brands of Omega 3 Oil and one of them stands out,
the Nordic Naturals Omega 3 Pet.
My mom says I had a totally different reaction after eating my food with Nordic Naturals Omega 3 Pet. I say it’s just TASTIER, DELISH!
Two major observation we noticed from using Nordic Naturals Omega 3 Pet
1) Mom says mixing the Nordic Natural Omega 3 in my food created a different consistency unlike the other Omega Oils we used in the past and 2) The smell of the oil is subtle.
Omega 3 fatty acids are a type of fat. EPA (eicosapentaenoic Acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) are fatty acids. These fatty acids are considered essential because they cannot be made by the body. For optimal health and wellness, EPA and DHA must be supplied by the diet and/or supplementation. EPA and DHA are found abundantly in cold-water fish.
What are the important health benefits of fish derived omega 3fatty acids,
EPA and DHA in dogs and cats?
Dog and cats can suffer from numerous inflammatory conditions and omega 3 fatty acids from fish supports dogs and cats conditions associated with skin, joints kidneys and heart.
Also, Omega 3 Oil is known to help maintain general skin and coat quality in dogs and cats.
This is definitely TRUE and also helped out with my allergies.
There is a lot of information about Omega 3 and its benefits for pets (dogs and cats). Nordic Naturals Pet website is an excellent resource for information.
Lots of Golden Thanks for Natural Nordic for sending us Omega 3 Pet.
Mom says we will definitely put an end on using other Omega 3 brands
and stick with Natural Nordic Omega 3.

We feed Millie a fish based kibble and her coat is fantastic!
I didn’t know this Sugar. We take very good care of our Little Bit. She gets two shots every month for severe allergies. Poor thing. I’ll give this a try Sugar and thank your mom for letting us know about this wonderful product.
Have a woof woof day. My best to your mom. 🙂
Thanks for the information, Sugar … I gotSalmon oil in my dry food and now I think we should try your omega 3 oil. Have a tasty tuesday ;o)
We all have Omega 3 capsules in our morning kibble (except Phantom). Mom covers it with a dollop of nonfat plain yogurt and we all just gobble it up. Phantom won’t take it any way Mom has tried, and of course, he is the one of us that could use it most:(
Thanks for telling us about this one.

There are so many choices out there for these types of oils. Personal testaments go along way to help someone wade through them. Thanks for this.
