Life is Full of Beautiful Moments.
Last year, we documented our Beautiful Moments through photographs.
This year, mom thought jotting down “Unexpected Happy” Beautiful Moments we shared together. Of course, we will continue to take photos too. Mom also thought instead of a notebook, she’ll use torn small papers to jot-down our Beautiful Moments wherein she’ll include the day, date, place, and what “Unexpected Happy” Beautiful Moment occurred.
By the end of January, mom realized she jotted down about 9 “Unexpected Happy” Beautiful Moments we shared together. It surely made her happy reading them again. She then decided to use an old treat jar to place these Beautiful Moments.
The beginnings of our Beautiful Moments Jar …
This Beautiful Moments Jar will also serve as our Happy Booster Moment.
When times we feel a bit down, we can always read the contents in our Beautiful Moments Jar.
Recalling Beautiful Moments always makes us Happy and puts a SMILE on our face too.
We plan to place our Beautiful Moments Jar by my tasty treat jar(s) wherein it will always be visible and have an easy access just like mom’s doggie cookies.
Do you capture/record your Beautiful Moments? LOVE to know …

What a lovely idea. Just looking at the jar would remind a person of all the “beautiful” in their life.
Oh Sugar, that’s a beautiful idea. We all need to be reminded of all the good things every once in awhile!
Very kind of you to donate your treat jar.

I love this idea Sugar…Too often it seems we remember only the unhappy times and forget to cherish those beautiful moments in our daily lives…This is an excellent way of reminding us that life has great times to offer & blessings to savor…We’ll be starting one of these at our house…Thank you!

That’s really a beautiful idea, Sugar. Do you think we should have such a jar too ? Have a beautiful friday, golden girl ;o)
That’s a really great idea. Always good to remember the beautiful moments in life.
Sugar what a great idea to write down beautiful moments. Mom used to have a notebook that she wrote things in that amused her during the day. Back when she was working she would encounter funny situations at lunch time. She always loved hearing funny things children said…one that she remembers especially was when a little boy told his mom “he loved her more than potato chips”…..just too sweet.
Maybe she needs to do that again between now and March 8th. She and Dad often eat out once or twice a week.
Thanks for this grand idea

Sugar, what a beautiful way to capture your Beautiful Moments. I love that you can go back and randomly pull out a pretty colored piece of paper with a reminder of something wonderful to brighten your day.

I really love this idea Sugar. It would be good to create one for my riding too, with the good moments I had in each ride.
Thanks for the idea.
Happy Beautiful Friday.
This is a brilliant idea and I have never thought to do it. I record most of my memories with my camera! But, I love that jar!
I couldn’t participate this month because of my hubby being here. But, if he is over his surgery by this time next month I will definitely join in.
I did put your badge up on my sidebar linking to it! Happy weekend and hugs for Sugar and you! 🙂
Fun idea!
Pawsome we love that Sugar. Hope you are feeling better. We remember long ago a soap character who put all her bad times on paper and stuck them in the freezer. It was actauly quite funny. Have a fabulous Friday.
Best wishes Molly
What a great idea Sugar! We will have to do that!

what a fabulous idea!
Your mom is a super special person, Sugar. What a wonderful idea.
I think I need to do this – so many beautiful moments that I appreciate at the time but they are gone like a wisp of cloud if we don’t stop to write them down.
Thank you for the “beautiful” idea. 🙂
OMD!!!! That is a FABulous idea Sugar!! Oh, Ma just LOVES it!! Oh how Blogville needs a jar like that right now….
Kisses,
Ruby
We posted this in answer to your comment: Thanks, we just printed them up ourselves. You might not know but we suspect that it might be a brand protected phrase since we got it off a pillow. So we don’t want to draw too much attention to it – BOL!
Keep Calm & Bark On!

I adore your idea about your “happy moment” jar. What a great idea!
Because I love photography, I tend to capture those happy moments with my camera. But, some of them can’t be captured that way… like when my dog puts her head on my shoulder and lets out a contented sigh (K used to do that all the time and it brought me such happiness). Your idea would be much better for remembering those kinds of happy moments.
What a great idea. You will probably be starting a trend there.
Thanks for the See Beautiful idea.
Love
Bert
Lovely idea Sugar! We need to have one of those although going to the v-e-t today would not make it into the jar!
what a great idea your mom had. That’s going to be one colorful happy jar when it’s all filled up. I imagine living with you it won’t take her long to fill it either
What a great idea and fun way to remember those moments!
