I’ve left the city. Good-bye to high rise building.
Good-bye to elevator rides to the roof top dog run.
Good-bye being a City Dog.
But I am not saying good-bye to the City of Chicago.
There are many wonderful attractions and dog-friendly places that I will surely re-visit.
For now, I’m just Golden Happy to be HOME HOME …
the home I’ve known since I was 7 weeks old.
I’m back being a Suburban Dog.
Guess, What I did first?
I did Lots of Golden Zooooomies in my backyard.
Then, I looked intensely for Fred, My Furry (Chipmunk) Friend.
I stood and waited on the ledge where Fred always sits.
No sight of him but I am hopeful to see Fred soon.
My family and I are happy to be back home but we are a bit tired.
From the photo below, can you guess why?
Lots of Golden L♥VE n Woofs
SUGAR
No actual mischief but I’m joining this post to Monday Mischief.
I’ve done several mischievous behavior which I’ll be sharing next week.
Love the photo of you looking for Fred. Hope he is still around. I would guess your tired because of all the boxes and packing paper? Gets so rest Miss Sugar so you can do more zoomies.
Blessings,
Goose
Maybe it’s still a bit too cold for Fred to have woken up from his winter sleep. I’m sure you will see him soon.
Sugar…You look very happy to be home. Plenty of new adventures and re-discoveries await.
so happy for you that you have your yard again…
We’re glad you’re back home again Sugar! We hope Fred comes and says hi soon!
It’s fun exploring new places, but home is always the best place for me too. 🙂

Sugar you must be one happy girl to have your yard back. Don’t get to worn out unpacking.
It’s so nice to be HOME! I think being a suburban dog is the best, pawsonally. You get a nice backyard to run around in, and nice neighborhoods to walk around, and close proximity to dog parks to meet new furiends!
We have moved over the ocean ourselves, so we know how stressful and tiring it is. The best is when you are finally in your new home, congratulations!
I bet you were glad to be home, Sugar! All that unpacking though. Pshew…I’d be tired!
Yes….there is no place like HOME {even though you might miss all those waves in the ocean}. Hope you see Fred soon.
It is nice to be home after being away for a while… and I can understand why your people are tired, looks like they’ve had some packing and unpacking to do!
oh Sugar! You are tired from all of that unpacking!!! Try and get some rest.
I am sooooo happy that you are HOME!
Yay Sugar I bet you had a lot of smell mail to read in your yard. WooHoo I wish I was there we could play hide and seek with the boxes and paper.

Nothing like being home, Sugar. We love to travel but home is where we belong. Mom’s been traveling about lately. Check out her adventures.
Awww, we are so happy that you are enjoying being back in your own home! Bet you miss all your traveling though!
There’s no place like home, there’s no place like home, there’s no place like home….Just click the ruby slippers!

Oh, it’s always so nice to be HOME. And having just helped both my sis and my mom move, I know how exhausting all that packing and unpacking stuff is! Hope you get to enjoy some down time!
Glad you are back. Fred will probably check in when he knows you are home.
FRED…… I remember FRED….. BUTT ERNIE is too little to know about your furend… We hope you see him soon… AND WELCOME HOME!!!
“There’s no place like home, there’s no place like home!” Sounds like you remembered to click your heels three times! BOL.
There really is no place like home. Hope you meet up with Fred.
Lots of unpacking for sure, but it will be worth it in the end.

Glad you are back home Sugar. City living is hard on you guys. What suburb do you live in? We moved from Desplaines to Genoa IL like seven years ago. Love being able to visit Chicago any time.
Love the first pic of you:-)
Truly, Sugar, there’s no place like home! Congratulations on being where your heart is!
You must be very happy Sugar

You’re home now and can look back on the fun experiences that other dogs missed out on. Give mom a break and don’t get into mischief until she’s rested. You look so happy in your backyard.
I hope you stay home for a while.
Lick and Rrruffs, BJ
Its good to be home, but it looks like your people have been doing a lot of unpacking! Hope Fred stops to pay you a visit.

Hi Sugar,
We tried to visit yesterday, but the computer was being silly and wouldn’t let us see your site? Mum and I had seen the title of your post and then last night Mum had a dream about you last night that you’d moved to Portugal – don’t even ask why? She’s strange!! 🙂 Anyway, you were clearly on her mind!
So happy you’ve found a great home 🙂
Wags to all
Your pal Snoopy 🙂
