We are in search of Spring flower bloom. Luckily, one of the suburban upscale boutique home and garden centers welcomes dogs when accompanied by their owners to shop.
The store is called Pasquesi located in the town of Lake Bluff.
A family owned business that is known in the community because of their superior commitment to quality. It’s not my first time here. I’ve been here many times.
It’s always a double treat coming here as I get to have a 20 minutes car ride and get to smell all the wonderful scents in the store.
As soon as you enter the store, lovely scents greet you from their selections of indoor flowers/plants, candles, soaps and other hand care products. The store is very orderly and the isles are wide to make it easy for me to stroll the store.
Pawsome part of the store is their wide range of pet products.
They carry the brand of my bed and have a variety of sizes/designs.
But we’re not here to shop for me. …
They were still in the process of filling up the nursery.
Definitely, I’ll be back again to see all the beautiful Spring/Summer flowers/plants.
Do you have a local Home & Garden Center that is dog friendly?
Lots of Golden L♥VE n Woofs
SUGAR
That is pawsome! We have no clue about our favorite nursery, but they have a pet frog! mol
That’s a good question, Sugar. I don’t know if our local Home & Garden Centers are dog-friendly. I’ll say one thing, I love seeing all those flowers. Spring is on it way!
Yup, I think they all are. In fact, I think I’ll take the boys to one this weekend. They love to sniff for squirrels 🙂
No such thing ..sadly in general our town is pretty dog unfriendly
Mom has never seen any dogs at our local garden centers but maybe dogs are allowed and people just don’t think to do it. That looks like a very nice place for you to get a peaceful walk and Mom to get some great ideas for the garden.
Woos – Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
we don’t have a garden center here, they both went out of business. Home Deport, Walmart, Lowes and Kmart have garden centers and they put the locals out of business. so no dog friendly here. hope you wiped your paws on that pretty matt
What a cool store, and how fun you got to go. I don’t know if we have a dog friendly nursery.
A very pawesome trip! You are super lucky to be able to go. I would love to sniff everything there!
Sugar,
I could tell that this is one of your favorite stores! You’re smiling in all the shots and look just great!
Maggie
We have one place that if we stay outdoors the dogs are OK. They sell icecream there, too. However, you can’t go inside, which means Mom and Dad both have to be there to pay for the stuff so someone can stay outside with us.
I’m not sure if ours is, if they are they don’t advertise it.
But you look very pretty amongst all the pretty pictures of flowers!
OMD Sugar that is a super DUPER place fur you to go shopping. WE like shopping too. LOVE those beautiful flowers!!!
Our big garden centre is dog friendly, trouble is, the dogs that go there are not friendly at all… 🙁 so, I stay at home whilst the folks argue about what colour flowers to plant for the spring BOL!
Beautiful. We love all the colors of those fresh flowers. A reason mom loves Pikes Market Place in Seattle
Snuggles,
Benny & Lily
Hi Sugar! Golden Woofs to you, too!! The nursery here is kinda on the expensive side, and not pet friendly. About the only stores around here that are pet friendly are PetSmart, Petco, and the pet boutiques scattered around the area. Mom says she loves those flowers that look like blue-tipped white daisies. What are they called?
I knew it! I have that door mat at my house. The spring flowers are just beautiful.
Blessings,’Goose
I bet there are always happy people who just love seeing you too Sugar 🙂 x x x
I haven’t a clue if our Little Bit would be welcome at the home and garden center. Never tried to take her there. Probably could though since she’s so well behaved.
Have a woof woof day Sugar. My best to your mom. 🙂
We take the boys to our Home Depot – it always works out so nice!
Sam
You look great with the flowers! I think I can go to Home Depot, but that is about it. We can’t shop for plants until May or so, still too cold in MN.
Hi “Sugar that is a lovely Home and Garden shop!!! Looks like you are thoroughly enjoying your visit too.
Yes we have a similar place here called Logan’s and there is a cafe in the back of Logan’s that has an outside dining area where dogs are welcomed.
Hugs Madi your BFFF
Sure looks like some FUN shopping! Beautiful flowers!
Sadly I’m not allowed in our local garden center… but I would like the smell of the earth and all this flowers and little trees :o) … btw: you are the cutest flower in this store :o)
Oh, that is one FABulous store Sugar!! Ma loves shoppin’ the local nursery’s, they really do have great deals, and they love what they do. We are lucky enough to have quite a few around here! (butts, they don’t really allow doggies like me, so no go…)
Kisses,
Ruby
What a cool store! We still need to look into whether or not our stores will let pets in, my guess is no though which is very sad.
Very nice! I’m not sure if we have one that is dog friendly or not. Because I have gotten lazy with leash training over the winter, I don’t think Maya or Pierson would do well at one of these places. Maya would pull my arm off trying to go check everything out. She’s so nosy. Pierson would try to hike his leg on stuff. 🙂
How beautiful!:) I am not sure if we have one in the area. But then again, my parents don’t have a space to build a garden!:( But my complex has tons of spaces for doggies to sniff flowers so that’s good!:)
You are lucky Sugar we only have the chain stores around us so Daisy and Scooby have to stay home. Enjoy the smell of those flowers.
Nothing around here as lovely and upscale as yours Sugar, but Momz takes me to Home Depot and Lowes with her and those are always fun trips
I’m afraid all we have is Lowes here. Mom says it is because so many people are irresponsible with their dogs.
Your Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
What a great place, and the flowers are so pretty. The daffodils blooming here are covered in snow AGAIN! We are not amused. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
Lucky you to get to shop with all of the pretty flowers, Sugar!
Love ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
They should use you in their ads Sugar! Your mom takes beautiful photos of you no matter where you are!
What a cool place! I go to Lowes sometimes.
Nola
I wish there were more stores I could go to here. Thank you for visiting my Remington tribute.
Loveys Sasha
I LOVE garden centres….I love the garden period! I don’t know why or where I got the love from….but no Sugar, no where is doggie friendly around here that is a big box store or a store in the city. BUT, luckily there are MANY country greenhouses where we can get flowers…and dogs are always welcome 🙂
Our local garden center is one of my favorite places to go. Not only are there lots of new things to sniff, but they have treats!!!
Yes, we do. Not only do they allow doggies to shop their with their owners employees can bring their doggies to work and some of the dogs liver their, the owner lives on the property. It is called Fraiser’s Nusery and it is in the community of St. Martin MS.
