Our weather definitely does not fit having some Frosty Paws but I’ve done something that caused me to have an upset stomach. WHAT did I do? Well, I have this visitor in my backyard (no its not my furry friend Fred) that leaves small goodies on the ground. If you’ve been a follower of my blog you might know who. Click Here to read my previous post, Say NO To Bunny Poops.
Yogurt is great and known for its natural bacteria remedy to ease upset stomach.
Yogurt contains a good amount of probiotics. Probiotics means “for life”, it is the opposite of the word antibiotic. Unlike antibiotic which attacks and kills bacteria, probiotics are good bacteria that enhance the levels of beneficial bacteria in the stomach.
Typically mom would just give me a spoonful of yogurt with my meal, this time she decided to add some strawberries and created a Layered Strawberry Frosty Paws.
2 Main Ingredients: Plain Yogurt and ~4 medium size Strawberries.
1) Pour some yogurt in the mold, Freeze it for an hour.
2) Add the blended strawberries (use a mixer) on top of the frozen yogurt.
3) Add another layer of yogurt. Freeze it for an hour (or longer).
A Tasty Treat that you and your dog will definitely enjoy together.
This is the 2nd time mom did a layered Frosty Paws.
The 1st one was Layered Pumpkin Bones.

MMMM! Sounds delish! My guys get yogurt most days as I share my morning smoothie with them. They love it!
Not only do those sound delish (we all LOVE strawberry, esp Miss Lola), but they are absolutely adorable!
Toby loves strawberries AND yogurt. When our bipolar weather decides it’s ready to be warm again I will try them. Easy recipe too – always a plus!
Actually, I think my little granddaughter would like these too 🙂
Sugar your Home Made Frosty Paws look sooooo delicious.
We know all about the Bunny Poops.. They are DELIGHTFUL… butt ONCE I ate some and got WORMS.
I think I will try your frosty paws instead of bunny-bonbons :o) your recipe sounds much better. Get well soon dear golden girl:o)
I am reading this post to Jake, but i doubt he will listen. he did not listen to say no to rabbit poop, and he eats his sisters poop, no matter what we say or do. this makes us have to follow his sister every where she goes and pick up the poop, OR clean up the throw up. i bet is was fun sliding in the olive oil….
I’m with Sugar – those are lip smacking good looking treats!
Oh SUGAR, I hope you are feeling better today. These treats look awfully yummy. Yes, yogurt is wonderful for the tummy. As for your friend depositing in your yard – yes, my pups like to investigate each morning as well. BUT be award of the those tasty morsels in the future.
We think those look like a super snack and the Mom would really enjoy them too. Where did you get the molds?? We just might have to try that. Wonder if the cats would eat them. Thanks for this great idea.
These look so good! They’re pretty too. We are HUGE fans of frosty treats in our home. I’m going back and look at the layered pumpkin bones.
It is Tasty Tuesday and wow Sugar they look yummy but also so professional. Really nice job. We must give those a go. Have a terrific Tuesday.
Best wishes Molly
My Lily learned a lesson from bunny and goose poops. We never saw Frosty Paws like that
Benny & Lily
Those look yummy, Sugar! Where did your Mom get the paw (and bone) molds? I need some of those so I can make the treats for my girls (and me)!
These sound yummy…I will save the recipe in case it ever gets warmer outside…right now my own paws are frosty with the 6 inches of new snow 🙂
Oh yes, we have those same invaders here too, but those pellets are so irresistible.
Mom is definitely going to make these frosty paws for us – we need to get her to get us a frosty paws mold.
Woos – Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Those look so great! I can’t believe how easy they are to make! Mom had better try these for us!

And our Little Bit can have this as there isn’t anything she’s allergic to. Thank you so much Sugar.
Have a woof woof day. My best to your mom. 🙂
Sugar, I am too love to eat such items… which you may recall I did on Friday, leading to me having only small portions of rice on Sunday having had to starve on Saturday 🙁
“Say No to ALL Poop” or “Poop Eaters Anon.” is my next step in life….
Sound so good, look so pretty, and I bet they’d help after we eat those little voles…. woofs from Jeffie, Rudy and Rosie
Great recipe, Boomer and Dottie will get the chance to try these this summer!
Sweet Sugar- please make sure your mom is using organic strawberries as they are the most heavily spayed fruit and soak up pesticides like little sponges. Also organic yogurt that’s hormone (BST) free would be best. xox
Note to self: don’t eat bunny poops. Okay, gots it Sugar! I’ve never seen a bunny, so it shouldn’t be too hard! BOL Butts, if I do, I’ll be sure to resist the urge to eats the poops!!

Thanks so much for sharing this today…And you’re right…This would be a super refreshing dessert for Park Day…Maybe you can talk your mom into whipping up a batch for efurryone 🙂
