Mom attended BlogPaws and I was left behind. It was an unexpected decision as we always travel together. My allergies are on the mend and traveling/change of environment might trigger an allergic reaction. I was in good care and I do admit that I managed to do some mischievous behaviors.
4 Mischievous Behaviors I did while mom was away …
1) I slept on the couch. Well, It’s mom’s fault. Why? She left the covers on … sending me a special invitation to comfortably sleep on the couch.
2) With my Golden Woof! Woof! and more Woofs, I got extra treats. I think its alright and not mischievous at all. I simply had healthy treats such as bananas, strawberries and carrots.
3) I went swimming which was a Golden Surprise to me. I got to the facility early and had enough time to acclimate myself. But I don’t need to acclimate myself. I was ridiculously Golden Excited and I made Lots of Loud Woof! Woof!. Also, I almost jumped through the viewing window of the pool.
By the time I got into the pool I’m super super hyper. I was forced to stay and rest by the side of the pool. There was only 1 swim therapy facilitator and I surely made her very tried by keeping my water buddy Chuck It away from her!
4) The bay window ledge is no longer an allowed place for me to lay. A piece of furniture is missing that assisted me in going up and down. Well, I simply Woof and I get help. Can you blame me for wanting to hangout by the bay window? It is close to the front door and I’m on a lookout for mom. Totally acceptable reason, don’t you think?
Golden Happy mom is home. We have lots of catching up reading everyone’s blog.
Happy Monday! I’m joining Monday Mischief Hop.
Lots of Golden L♥VE n Woofs
SUGAR
Well it sounds like you week was full of new changes!
Mom being gone is a purrfect time for mischevious behavior! We hope you got it all out of your system, Sugar! Happy Monday! xoxo
We see that as all NORMAL behaviour, Sugar. We don’t see ANY mischief there….it might be different if you broke the window or dug a hole in the couch….just sayin’.
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Glad you got some couch time and good treats–I never had any of those things.
I’m glad you got to have some fun while your Mom had some too, Sugar and I totally agree about the window!
Sugar! You are one mischievous golden girl!! But I think you had good reasons to be so! I bet your mom is so happy to be home with your beautiful golden self!
Licks,
Ruthie
Don’t think any of those were mischievous …..just you having fun 🙂
I love the shots of you swimming that must be great for any arthritis I wish we had swimming by us Norbert does not like water though
urban hounds
All acceptable. Especially being by the window waiting for your mom.
Blessings,
Goose
You might call it mischief, but it sure looks like you were having fun.
We don’t think that sounds like mischief at all. We think it sounds like having fun! Lee and Phod
Sorry you missed Blogpaws, but it looks like you had all kinds of fun while your mama was gone! There no is any shame in asking to be picked up and put somewhere…. of course we is big enough to jump up. If we felt like it. And I never feels like it!
love,
Reuben
Sugar, you did what you had to do to pass the time! ~xo~
Love the shot of you by the window, waiting for your mom – so precious!
Stewey

Sugar it looks like you had a wonderful time. And of course the window is the best seat in the house.
This doesn’t sound like mischief to me, Sugar. It sounds like special “treats” for you since mom was away. Can’t wait to hear all about BlogPaws. I hope your mom had a wonderful time.
Sounds like lots of fun!
I’m especially jealous of the swimming!
That had to be really great for you.
Looks like you had some great fun while your Mom was away, Sugar! We wish there was a pool near us!! And, you look so sweet waiting at the window for your Mom!
You need to get your window seat back to standard so you can hang out there when you want! I was pretty good this weekend, just woke the family members up with kisses mornings at 5:30 which they did not seem to appreciate but that is when I like to get up and I wanted them to get up too. At least I did not steal their underwear this time. So glad mom is back!
Mischief? NO
1. I just wish I could get on the couch. I’m so big, I don’t even bother. No couch is big enough!
2. We don’t have thumbs. Hooman’s were put on this earth to get us punkin cookies and everything.
3. Oh my, I’ve done the same thing. We sit outside until the other dog is done swimming or I pitch a Rooooo fit.
4. I have a doggy door, so my favorite perch is always available. Remember, woofs are just our way of saying please.
Glad yer Mum is home.
Rooooooooooo of love from Easton
Well Sugar, you were so right about the allergies! I spent a lot of time sneezing and scratching my ears! Mom kept giving me peanut butter – good- but I think there was something in it – bad. Also, Dad found 3 ticks on me! I don’t think I’ll get to go to Vegas. Congratulations on your mischief! Love Dolly
I didn’t hear about ANY mischief. That all sounds fine to me! You absolutely DESERVED some extra indulgence after you were so cruelly left behind!
Now we are thinking those are just regular things not mischief at all. Did you stay with lady O while your mom was away?
Your Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
I’m glad you had some fun while your mom was away. I hope she had a great time too and now you can spend all your time together as always – Have a golden Monday dear Sugar :o)
I saw a picture of you playing in that pool Sugar, I admit it certainly looked mischievous to me.
Golden Woofs to you and your mom, she’s seriously awesome and I love her!! Please give her an special Golden Woof, thanks and lick for being so sweet to me.
Hi Sugar, So happy your mom is back and I think you had a very happy time when she was off having her own adventure. I loved all the photos. Can’t wait to hear what she did while at the convention.
Wags, Noreen & Hunter
We think you did just fine, Sugar – no mischief there at all. We wish we had a swimming place here that we could try – it sounds like fun.
Woos – Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
I don’t think you did anything bad at all. In fact I think you did very well while mom was gone. I’m sure she’s not angry with you either. Remember, she missed you too.
Have a woof woof day Sugar. My best to your mom. 🙂
I don’t think those are mischiefs, I think that was you enjoying yourself!
Sugar, I really enjoyed meeting your mom! I wanted to send her home with chicken nuggets for you, but she thought you might be allergic to feathers. 😉
Sounds like you had tons of fun, Sugar! I bet you didn’t have time to miss your Mom!
When Mom’s away, it’s time to play? lol 🙂
I love the swimming lessons. What a fun time.
Well Sugar you know I’m one of your biggest fans and I never ever think you do any mischief so I completely agree you were a purrfect angel while Mom was away.
Hugs madi your BFFF

Sugar I am so happy you had a good time after seeing your mom leave without you. I think you were good and creative in your escapades. Best part of all is that your mom is home!
I wish I had a pool to go swim in!
Tell your mama that the couch is the only proper place for Golden Princesses like you!
I bet you are so happy to see your mom again! Sounds like you had a pretty nice time while she was away at least.
Well even though you didn’t get to go with your mom it sounds like you had a great time and kept yourself busy while she was gone
Sugar – we got to meet your mom at BlogPaws – wish you had been there. Sounds like pretty reasonable mischief. I was pretty good – I waited till mom came home to get into mischief – FBI related mischief. Check my FB page 😉
Not even one of those things sounds like mischief. You were just being yourself. Bet all your friends at Blog Paws really missed you and we, are sure you missed them. Glad your mom is home safe and sound. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
While Mom’s away, the pup will play 🙂 I LOVE the photos on the couch! You SOOO belong there as you really just “make” the whole look of the couch! Hugs Sugar!
Oh boy…apparently having your mom go off to a BlogPaws conference is a free pass for the dogs that stayed home to get into mischief…Riley sure got into lots of stuff! She dug up some vegetable plants from our newly planted raised garden in the backyard!
Bet you were so happy to see your mom! I really enjoyed finally getting to meet her. 🙂
I bet you are very happy to have your mom home and hope your mom had a great time at blog paws. Looks like you had a great time while mom was gone and got to do all kinds of fun stuff. My Nellie likes the bay window at gma’s house too.
Hi Sugar! It was so nice to meet your Mom at BlogPaws! Thanks for letting her come, I know she missed you a lot!
Looks like you were very active while mom was away
Benny & Lily
All your mischief seems perfectly reasonable to me. And what a treat to get to go swimming … you’re a lucky Golden!
That mischief seems like a normal day around here Sugar. Glad you made the best of things despite being left behind. Did you also put golden nosy marks on the window? lol
Sugar, I am so glad you had some mischievous fun while your Mom was gone! It’s a fair trade off since you didn’t get to go, I think! I especially love the photos of you having fun in the pool.
I love those photos of you sleeping. Adorable! My dogs know the couch cover too. They are not allowed on the furniture, but sometimes I let them up. When I get the blue sheet out, Maya gets super excited.
