Hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Memorial Day is the (un)official start to summer fun. We wished we had summer like weather this weekend but unfortunately it was cloudy and cool. We still spent most of our time outdoors, in our yard for some gardening. I mainly did suPAWvision after many zoomies and chasing furry friends.
I was exhausted and refreshing Tasty Treats were inevitable.
About 4 weeks ago, we shared Banana Frosty Holes recipe. We received enormous response and were at awe. It’s a very simple frosty treat that mom has been making for me for years. Many emailed us and asked how we made the hole inside the banana. First and for most, you can’t use an over ripped banana. Cut the banana into pieces ~ 1/2 inch thick. Be creative on what kitchen gadget to use to make the hole in the middle. You can simply use a small butter knife.

Well, mom decided to recreated the Banana Frosty Holes recipe with a bit of twist. This time she named the recipe, Banana Frosty Cups w/ Blueberry Holes.
She used 4 mini baking cups to form the frosty yogurt.
Ingredients
~1 tablespoon of yogurt,
4 slices of banana, (1/2 inch thick)
4 blueberries
Pour some yogurt into the mini cups. Optional: Freeze it for a couple minutes.
Place a banana on each mini cups (make sure to make a small hole first).
Place a blueberry onto the banana hole. Freeze it.
My mom also made some frozen flower watermelon.
Both were refreshing Tasty Treats especially after spending the day gardening.

I’m afraid my mom would eat all this food alone (she is very selfish) Have a tasty tuesday dear golden girl
They look yummy! Now if only it would warm up so we could use some cool treats. It has been so cold and wet, no mood for frozen anything around here!
That looks really good, plus they seem to be very easy to make, gotta try it out right now.
Your mom makes you the most wonderful treats. I know you appreciate it very much too.
Have a woof woof day Sugar. My best to your mom. 🙂
Can you use yoplait low fat yogurt. I was thinking the blueberry flavor then the banana with the blueberry. These would be for me. Thanks, Janet

Those look yummy and easy… but Rita doesn’t like regular ol’ banana, so I’m wondering if she’ll eat them frozen?? I guess if she won’t eat them, I can!

Wow! Those sure look pretty and delicious. Your mom is so talented and creative. You are lucky to have a person who can whip up such delicious treats!
I wish my girls liked bananas but they don’t. These treats sound super yummy!
Yum! I hope to have some fresh blueberries from my own bushes this year, then I will definitely give these a try!
Drool!!!
Coming from someone who dusts her stove and won’t own a microwave, you have inspired me to make these treats for BJ. I know BJ will appreciate your post.
Looks very mummy thanks for the recipe.
Freezer snacks are more likely to be made at my house than baked treats…cause I am lazy…not implying YOU are lazy….my freezer treats would be much simpler and not look so nice 🙂
We are coming over for sure
