There are many dogs in the shelter and we wish them to find their forever homes.
Looking for a PAWsome book to read this Summer, Logan’s Secret is a must read book. It is a chapter book geared for children ages 7 and up but adults/dog lovers will surely love it too.
Logan used to be named Rapido and Sam. He was a retired greyhound racing dog.
He shared a hearth warming secret of Thinking Positive by Changing The Way You Think:
Instead of Thinking HOW to get it, Think of WHAT You Want.
Logan’s Secret is written by Suzanne Burke. She has more than 10 years of experience working with the greyhound breed as a volunteer for the Greyhound Adoption League of Texas. She wrote Logan’s Secret from his (Logan’s) perspective, expressing the emotions he experienced in the search for this forever home. At the same time, Logan’s journey teaches you about life lessons of survival, hope, faith and courage. For these reasons, Logan’s Secret is a book that both young and old readers can relate to.
Logan’s Secret includes a black and white illustrations and photographs. Since it is geared for young readers, at the end of the book it includes a chapter about greyhounds, an educational project and an expanded vocabulary.
Suzanne is lucky woman who adopted Logan. Unfortunately, in 2012 Logan lost his life to bone cancer. We recommend that you read Logan’s Secret to find out how Suzanne brought joy to Logan’s wish to find his forever home.
Logan’s Secret is available in Amazon. Logan’s Secret is the first book in a planned trilogy. Suzanne is releasing the second trilogy soon, Mystical Collar. We can’t wait to read it.
