“Eyes Are Windows To The Soul”
Dogs can’t speak the human language. They communicate through their eyes.
A dog’s eyes tell tales and speak volumes.
Dogs have Beautiful SOULful Eyes.
Today we are celebrating {This Moment}See Beautiful 1st Anniversary Hop.
It all started with my {This Golden Moment} posts and through the guidance of my Golden Eyes. Mom says that I guide her to see the inner beauty that surrounds us. From this, my mom was inspired to share the Life Lessons of Beauty I’ve taught her.
See Beautiful, a site we came across, is an inspiring site particularly for women to see the beauty they possess and empower all to see the beauty in the world. It is just appropriate to collaborate with See Beautiful and share the beauty we see around us. We are very grateful as many of you have participated for the past year. Special Golden Thanks to our co-hosts friends Goose, Madi, Bert and Chloe/LadyBug who have joined us since we started this hop.

Congratulations on the one year anniversary and thanks for hosting.
We wish we could answer your question but we are all kitties. Mama says we taught her how to relax and how to keep an eye out behind so she won’t trip over us. MOL.

Sugar, I love this blog hop 🙂 Have just written and published my post. What have my dogs taught me? Wow, there’s so much. They’ve taught me not to sweat the ‘small stuff’. They’ve taught me to enjoy life and be present in the moment. Most of all, they reminded me of the importance of playing.
We love your eye painting, Sugar! We enjoy this blog hop so much! Happy 1st Anniversary to See Beautiful. XOXO
The eyes do say it all Sugar!!

i can’t begin to describe what bailey has taught me. but i think mainly, she has taught me that life goes on and that i am able to love again. you see in january of 2010 i lost my most precious kibbles to cancer. i thought i’d never want another dog. kibbles was my once-in-a-lifetime dog and how in the world could i replace her? i was afraid to open my heart to another dog. but when god put bailey in our path, in november of that same year, my heart opened and scooped her right in. bailey has not replaced my kibbles, kibbles will always have a special place in my heart, but my heart is big and there is plenty of room for bailey.
loving wags, judy (bailey’s mommy)
You can say all things with your eyes Sugar – you need no words. Have a beautiful Friday !

WE have our post up for SEE BEAUTIFUL’s Big FURST ANNIVERSARY!! CONGRATULATIONS !!
Oh, I’ve dreamed about having one of those See Beautiful tags for a long time! ~~ Bunny
I think the most important thing Bunny has taught me is to love again. When my first Greyhound passed away, I wasn’t just broken-hearted, I felt like my heart had been shattered. Bunny came into my life and I felt my heart healing right away. She’ll never be the dog I lost, but she’s her own, wonderful individual self. There have been so many beautiful things that have happened to me since I got Bunny. I started the blog, I’ve traveled, I’ve gotten back in touch with nature through our fantastic hikes and I’ve learned to look for the beauty that’s there in front of us. When I have tough times, I feel incredibly blessed that I can come home and have four furry reminders about how lucky I am and what’s really important. It doesn’t get more beautiful than that!
The eyes of a dog always have a story to tell.
Sugar….you are BEAUTIFUL!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO SEE BEAUTIFUL! We didn’t pawticipate but we LOVE seeing all of the doggies who did!! We love your painting! (we still have to finish paying for ours lol)
Love the soulful eyes – it has inspired us to join in today
Sugar my friend, there is such wisdom in your soul, we are forever greatful that we know you. And My Vickie says to tell you that We wear your collars when we have the kids read to us at the schools. She says they make me look even more handsome. (If that is possible) anyway…we love you and love the See Beautiful Fridays.
Bert adn My Vickie
I almost added my link this week, but I wasn’t sure. It had Akua’s eyes. But it was a random 5 post. Sugar is a great example of beauty!
Those Sugar eyes just make the heart smile!
They do indeed speak with their eyes and all we need to is pay attention. Precious.
Have a woof woof day Sugar. My best to your mom. 🙂
Have a beautiful day xxx
Sugar, congratulations on this 1 yr anniversary of See Beautiful. The most important thing I have learned from my dogs is to love unconditionally. And yes, that life goes on. When we lost our little Olive, I was so depressed. And then Greta came into our lives. A naughty, quirky, energetic little pug. For months I did not know if I could handle her, She has challenged me for sure but now I wouldn’t have her any other way. She has taught me the virtue of being patient for sure.
hugs
Bailey, Hazel & Greta
Morning Sugar!!!
Happy See Beautiful…(fyi every day we see your beautiful smile, is a golden moment)
Thanks for asking what I taught mom….you know humans can be somewhat impulsive….that is mom.
I taught her to never, no never ever, touch, eat, smell anything w/o first giving it the 1, 2, 3 paw tap test.
Yep before I touch, eat or smell anything new I tentatively and most cautiously tap near the object gradually getting closer and closer…after all you never know it might be alive, it might eat you first, it might smell bad or heaven forbid have germs. Dad says when they are walking and mom sees something on the ground she takes goes 1, 2, 3 paw tap test first. Sometimes she thinks she sees a piece of money and it is really petrified gum.
MOL MOL MOL yep she owes me big time for this lesson.
hugs madi your BFFF
Hey Sugar!
Wow, a huge BIG CONGRATS on the 1 year anniversary! This is such a wonderful idea and I love getting to look at all of the gorgeous See Beautiful posts around Blogville. Thanks for giving us all a smile and for hosting a giveaway.
Grr and Woof,
Sarge, Beauty Lover
Sugar, we pawticipated this time! I hope we did okay. Momma says that I have taught her to always give your whole heart to whatever you’re doing. If it’s time to play, play like you’ll never play again. If it’s time to nap, sleep like the dead! BOL!
Good morning Sugar and mom!! Thanks for creating this lovely blog hop, we so enjoy participating every month.
what has Gracie taught me?!?!? That we need to enjoy the simple things in life, take time to smell the roses, roll in the grass, run like the wind and bark like the dickens, cuz life is just too short to not live big!! Happy Friday 🙂
My pets have taught me to smile when you are frustrated. There is nothing worth staying angry forever for. A wag of the tail or a nuzzle from a muzzle can take all the pain and stress away.
Happy Anniversary! It’s a beautiful blog hop!
HAPPY SEEING BEAUTIFUL!! We have been so honored to spend a year hopping and seeing beautiful with you! Sugar makes us see beautiful all the time. The tags you create for us always leave us seeing and able to share more beautiful! We are so grateful.
Lilly and Buddy make my world spin on an axis. They are part of why See Beautiful exists. They bring love into my life in infinite ways all the time.
What a beautiful post. And a beautiful celebration. Congratulations on your one-year celebration….
Have a great day.

Please add us to your give-away. (I think this is a wonderful blog hop idea!)
What has my dog taught me? Since I have been fortunate to share my life with many dogs, I will go with the one thing they have all taught me…and that is to have patience and forgiveness with all of the people and animals in my life. My dogs forgive me when I make mistakes, when I come home late, when I get so wrapped in my troubles that I fail to stop and toss that ball for them. They have infinite patience, with all my human faults, and they love me anyway.
We certainly see beautiful in that gorgeous painting!
Love the painting of your eyes – good luck to those in the giveaway, they are fabulous prizes!
Congratulations Sugar! Lucky whoever wins the S.B. tags – I do love the one I got for Toby!
What generous prizes you’re offering! Wishing all of the entrants good luck. I’ve won a couple things lately and think this time it’s someone else’s turn…
the painting of Sugar’s eyes is amazing, captured her beautiful spirit.
I don’t know why, but I was thinking the See Beautiful hop was another day… so I don’t have a post prepared :(. But I may enter a late one since it will still be open for a while.
Very beautiful, Sugar. We always “see” beautiful things through your eyes.

Love the painting. Happy 1 year anniversary to your hop. It’s such a wonderful idea! Everyone needs to stop and see more beautiful in the world!
Hi Y’all!
My Human says we pawed ones have a unique and special immediacy in our view of things. We are “unencumbered”…whatever she meant by that. She tells me our eyes are the windows to our souls.
You have beautiful eyes, Sugar.
Y’all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
That is a great painting Sugar. Have a great day
Congratulations on the 1 year anniversary! These posts always make me smile and I have enjoyed hopping along on the hop and seeing all things beautiful!
The eyes have it!

I’m so glad that you started this blog hop. Thank you!
My departed K taught me that loving is worth it, even if you end up with a great big hole in your heart later that must heal ever so slowly. Thanks to the love that K gave me, I was able to welcome a new dog into my life after K departed, Shyla. I’ve learned about courage from her. She saw nothing but the inside of a crate for the first 9 months of her life – so everything was scary and new for her when I met her. Ah, the courage in her heart has awed me, as she has very slowly learned the ways of the human world. And, Shyla has let me become her rock in this big scary world, which has led me to love again. And it’s worth it, even though I know how much it will hurt someday.
The love of a dog is beautiful. Of course, you already know that.
Dear Sugar,
I was on See Beautiful’s blog and commenting about their 1 year anniversary and just had to hop to your blog. THEN it happened…… I opened yours to see the (almost ) most beautiful eyes ever. Your eyes do tell tales. When my golden (Jack – rescued a year ago) looks at me with his beautiful eyes – I wonder, how could anyone let you out of their lives. I only want to think that his untold tales had love and patience for a puppy, then even more love, soft pats, and lots of lap hanging outs as he aged. Now, he finds himself with all that and even sharing morning bed cuddles. I hope he only sees beauty and feels LOVE from his first day with us and his canine sibling. I thank “Adopt A Golden Retriever Knoxville” for giving us the opportunity to bring Jack into our home. He has taught us – along with his sibling (Vesta) so much with those sweet golden and shepard eyes. They play, share toys, protect each other, lie side by side in quiet time, help each other when it is time for the vet (Jack loves to go – Vesta hates it) but will follow Jack to the moon and back. So, of course both have to go. I could go on and on ……but I gather you get the ideas I am trying to convey (BECAUSE YOU ARE A GOLDEN). I don’t have a blog to hop to, but just wanted to let you know about our dogs’ eyes. God bless and thank you for your emails and inspirations.
Sugar, I love this blog hop, and am glad I finally got a chance to participate.
My pets have taught me many things, but I think the most important is to love unconditionally…..to love everyone for who they are, and not to judge others.
Sugar Momz andI are in love with Sheila’s painting…All of the eyes are gorgeous and each one expresses the unique soul they portray…In yours we see a wise and gentle Golden full of love
My guys have helped me see so many things, and so much beauty, I don’t think I could possibly share everything. What I find so beautiful is how loving and forgiving they are. To me, that is a beautiful gift.
Thank you for inviting Donna and I to join in this beaitiful blog hop 🙂 Definitely looking forward to the next round!! 😀
