Hope everyone had a FUN enjoyable weekend. I sure had lots of Golden FUN especially with the Giant Sprinkler that our friend built in our backyard for a museum project. If you missed my post, click here. We also attended a parade and got interviewed for a university paper article, Dogs That Attended the 4th of July Parade.
We had fireworks for 4 days, the loudest day was on the 4th but I hardly heard it because I was occupied munching a Tasty Treat. When unknown noises occur #3 on my mom’s list to do to make me feel good is to keep me distracted with a treat. Typically, a banana in my Kong will keep me occupied but this time mom gave me a Medium Split Elk Antler from Best Elk Antlers . It is truly a special treat as I only get to munch an antler in the Fall and its only Summer.
I started munching the Split Elk Antler an hour before the loud noises.
An hour has past and I’m still munching away …

Great review! Titan used to get Elk and deer antlers in the past but won’t touch them ever since introducing him to JNC Slammer bones.
They look yummy. I wrote it on my wisjlist! Have a tasty tuesday Sugar! … mybe you could come a little closer to the screen that I can take a sniff on your antler?
Hey Sugar!
Wow, I’m glad you had a pawesome weekend and I loved that big sprinkler! Gee, I really like antlers too. My Dad gives me whitetail deer antlers, but he never splits them for me. I’ll have to ask him about that. Yours looks delish!
Grr and a Drooling Woof,
Sarge, Snacker
Split elk antlers are our favorite treat/toy. We love them.
Thanks for the review Sugar. I can’t let my dogs have the antlers because they chew so hard they make their teeth bleed! They really do love them though.
We are STILL amazed by that giant sprinkler.
We LOVE DEER ANTLERS… so the Elk Antler must be super good also.
so your gonna be a star in the article… and i was happy to hear the antlers are ones that fall off…
golden chewy looking! I shall try to write this on Mum’s shopping list… if only I had opposable thumbs BOL!
Sugar I love love love your chewing video…you have quite a dainty method of attacking those yummy antlers.
Sweet pie mom had a hissy fit over how soft and wavy your ear furs look. She said she’d like to give them kisses.
Hugs madi your BFFF
Wow, Sugar! The Elk Antler looks like the perfect chew!!
My mom says she is getting frightened at our similarities! I won split elk antlers and was going to post that today but then decided at the last minute to wait until next Tuesday! We would have had the exact same post! They sure are yummy but so much work! Even my chew maniac sister quit after an hour and had barely made a dent! Enjoy!
I have an antler that is one of my bedtime toys…I bring it to bed with me every night so I have something to gnaw on if I wake up in the middle of the night…Momz sez she could hear you munching on the video Sugar…Happy Tuesday!
Hi Sugar, I’m so glad that the Elk antlers kept you distracted. Big booms can be so frightening for pups. We found that Hunter like the first Elk Antler we got him but after that, he hasn’t touched the last one we bought. Another tasty treat is Bison bones-specifically the leg bone. We found them here in Colorado and they are pretty reasonable. What I like is that they don’t break apart and don’t smell, they literally last for months-of course Hunter is pretty small. Thanks for sharing today.

Elk antlers are the best! My kids absolutely love them! When I get the split ones, one of my hounds will “canoe” out the marrow in the middle. It’s her favorite part! Have a happy Tuesday, Sugar!
Oh, the Lapdogs all LOVE antlers… elk or deer are the usual in our household! 🙂
Sugar, do you think we would like chewing on that rather than plastic bags and books??? Meeow!
Looks like you really did like that. Mom says she’s putting them on her Christmas list for all her doggy friends. We didn’t know she even had doggy friends. We can’t say we are too happy about that. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
They sound great but BIG SIGH we cant get them here. Have a terrific Tuesday.
Best wishes Molly
I have an antler not sure if its elk or not. I enjoy it a lot too but I still prefer my Nylabone. Go figure. Love Dolly
Rita loves it when I get her a split antler! They make her teeth nice and white too!
We still have ours in the two box from two years ago – we took one sniff and walked away and have never been near them since 🙂
What a weekend! So should we ask for your autograph now?
Benny & Lily
Little Bit won’t eat if she’s around fireworks, so we go to the boat and stay in the slip every year. Everyone else is out and things are quiet. So far it’s working.
I’m glad you had thing to occupy yourself with while all the noise was going on. I’d not heard of elk antlers before. I’m glad you liked them and that they are good for you.
Have a woof woof day. My best to your mom. 🙂
Sound great. Checked it out and found the shipping costs more than the product.
Look at you Sugar loving up your elk antler. My dogs love them too. Thanks for a great review and pictures.
You sure enjoy those antlers Sugar! We always like seeing you in action!
Oh, those look tasty Sugar! The split ones are intriguing, Ma knows I wouldn’t eat the whole antlers, butts maybe the split ones….
Kisses,
Ruby
Sound good to me!
Sugar, thanks for the reminder about elk antlers, I had completely forgotten how good they are and how much Max enjoys chewing on them! I have added that to my list!
We have something for you on our page!
That looks very tasty!!
The Florida Furkids
Antlers are a favorite around here too!
They look very tasty! Well, not to me of course but Shiner thinks so 🙂
Yum on the antler! We have a variety of sizes of deer antlers (not split) and the whole pack love them and I like them since they are natural and so long lasting.
Jack loves the antlers – never seen one split like that. He gets bored with them after awhile though.
OOOhhhh I got deer antler for Donna before, but she likes to chew it on her bed and it smears all over and turns her bed brown 😛 Not that she’s too bother with sleeping on a bed smeared with bone juice :3 I;m glad you enjoyed your elk antler! Just discovered this blog hop today, lucky!
Okay, we’re going to have to try out those elk antlers. I’m sure Maya & Pierson would love them. And I’m glad they are all natural.
MMM I bet my boys would love those!
