After our early evening walks, we usually sit on a hill to watch the sunset.
This photo was taken on July 1st, the day my friend Thunder passed away
from the Chronicle of Woos.
It’s not fair that Thunder lost his life at 7 years old from cancer,
but then “Cancer is never fair.”
Mom took this photo from her iPhone.
She used PicMonkey’s black n white and cross process effects.
I’m Joining Black & White Sunday blog hop hosted by My Life in Blog Years,

Beautiful photo Sugar!
Beautiful tribute about Thunder. I was stunned and so upset to hear that he was gone at such an early age. When I used to blog, I loved their blog very much and loved Thunder and the entire family. . Cancer is not fair and very scary. It has taken too many of my own pets along with several friends at an early age. Thanks Sugar and Mom for a very wonderful tribute to a great dog. I love your picture too so much!
So sorry about your friend. Great place to stop and remember your friend. What a special photo.

Beautiful picture. So sorry about Thunder. Cancer is so evil and it makes us so sad that it took Thunder at 7 years young.
Is the rainbow/halo something your mom added or was it naturally there? It is so fitting in a post for Thunder, ’cause it makes us think we are looking at the RB. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
HI Sugar! We heard about Thunder. We are sorry, but he waits by the Rainbow Bridge. Nice to meet you! Me-0mmmm

I lost an extra special dog to cancer when he was only 3 years old. Six precious weeks from diagnosis to the letting him go. Cancer certainly sucks and my heart goes out to Thunder’s family and friends. A lovely photo and tribute Sugar.
