I am a Golden Dog that loves water. I don’t mind getting a bath.
I Golden LOVE baths. If you are follower of my blog, you’ve seen many of my outdoor baths.
Here’s my latest outdoor bath with Cloud Star Buddy Wash, Lavender & Mint.
It’s not my first time to use Buddy Wash shampoo + conditioner.
Golden LOVE Lavender, it’s scent combine with the mint creates a calming and refreshing bath.
It’s FUN having a bath but the “drying” portion is the most time consuming.
Typically, it takes 3 large towels to dry my Golden Fur.
Golden Happy to receive the Super Shammy from Soggy Doggy. Problem solved.
Super Shammy is microfiber chenille dog towel. It is super absorbent, 5x more absorbent than regular cotton towels. It has triangle corners to provide “2 pockets”, where you can place your hands and have more control on drying your dog’s fur.
What’s the secret of Super Shammy? From their packaging, it says ” The Super Shammy is made from millions of textured, utra-fine strands woven together, so the surface area of the towel is much greater than meets the eye! The increased surface allows it to dry faster than regular cotton towels (and it remains bacteria and odor-free too!).”
I thoroughly Golden Enjoy getting rubbed by Super Shammy.
It was super soft and provided me a gentle massage too.
Golden Surprise how Super Shammy dried my Golden Fur.
I invite you to watch my 36sec Got Super Shammy? video (below).
For better video quality (and to compliment my mom’s photos), we decided to change our blog video platform to Vimeo. Check it out and LOVE to hear your comments.
Got Super Shammy? from Golden Woofs on Vimeo.
My mom has washed/dried the Super Shammy several times and it retains its shape and fluffiness. Super Shammy takes drying a soggy dog to a new level.
We give Super Shammy by Soggy Doggy 4 Golden Paws.
Super Shammy is a “must have” product for any dog owner.
Lots of Golden Thanks to Soggy Doggy for providing me Super Shammy.
Golden LOVE Super Shammy and it will definitely be put to use a lot.
Disclaimer: Soggy Doggy provided Sugar The Golden Retriever a Super Shammy for a review. Golden Woofs did not receive any monetary compensation for this review post/video. Golden Woofs purchased Cloud Star Buddy Wash and did receive additional benefits from mentioning it.
Lots of Golden L♥VE n Woofs
SUGAR
BTW: I entered a “BATH” contest. Click Here to vote for me. Golden Thanks
Sugar…This is just the cutest post. I’m sold on the Super Shammy. I have a little microfiber cloth with the “fingers” that I use on my computer, and I love it. You can tell by the look on your face that you love water. You look all skinny when your Golden furs are all wet!
You do look really happy getting your bath!! My girls just put up with getting baths!
Oooh, very nice! I have never heard of a Super Shammy–it look so soft!
You are too cute Sugar!
We’ll have to look for that. We use up loads of towels when we three have baths.
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Oh that thing looks pretty cool! I really liked the video too. Do you like vimeo better than YouTube? Thankfully, Shiner’s fur is super short so she dries pretty fast. I only have to use one towel on her. I remember when I used to bathe dogs, sometimes it would take lots of towels for the fluffy ones like you.
I can tell you are enjoying being dried, too! Henry loves it. Zachary? Not so much. 🙂
That looks like a great way to dry off Sugar!
Morning Sweet thing….
Super shammy would make a most wonderful kitty napping pad too!!
I can smell your lovely lavender essence all the way down here.
Hugs Madi your BFFF
AND it matches your Golden furs perfectly. Sometimes it was hard to tell where the Golden furs stopped and the shammy started.
Blessings,
Goose
My Mum loves these types of things and anything which will prevent me from drenching the bathroom in the winter after my shower has got to be good… Soggy Doggy here I come!
wow, this is really good news, i need one for Baby, she is so hard to dry, Jake is ok, he dries off like a person does, but baby needs at least 3 towels… thanks Sugar
Oh – we will have to check out that shammy – we go through 5 towels each when mom gives us the ‘evil’ bath 🙂
Seriously gonna get one of those Shammy’s. Thanks for the tip Sugar!
That super-shammy looks great! I think that we’re going to have to try it. It would be especially good when we’re on a long camping trip in our van. It might be a nice compact thing to bring for drying the dogs after a swim.
Bliss 😉
This is delightful! The Super Shammy isn’t even that big – much better than going through 2 or 3 towels each time. I could see this coming in especially handy after swims – and it’s easy to pack!
Oh Sugar your expressions crack us up! You make baths look fun and not like a torture chamber
Benny & Lily
Love the idea of this product…Tater has short hair but the time and mess of drying off is more than the bath time…and this makes me think he might enjoy it. Thanks for sharing…beautiful photos too!
Sugar, mom has been using ShamWow to dry me. It’s better than terry cloth, and it sounds like Super Shammy is even better.
I still don’t like water or getting a bath.
hugs and Licks, BJ Pup
AWESOME! Pictures and video were awesome! Love how you close your eyes and just take in the goodness! Looks like a fabulous product!
That sounds great, Sugar! I love your pictures and I can’t get enough Sugar today! Have a golden thursday!
Mom should get one of those for when she bathes our woofies!!
The Florida Furkids
Does it say NEVER EVER use Fabric Softener of any kind???? We hear that messes up the microfibers and they won’t Work right.
OMD that looks really comfy fur drying you off… and big enough… butt NOT TOO big.
Your shampoo sounds like it smells good too.
Wow, that looks awesome and much better than a bunch of towels.
Your video is like a professional TV commercial! I love that the shammy matches your fur too! Maybe we need to look into one or two of those??? I see you are now using Vimeo, do you like it?
What a great idea. I so need that Soggy Doggy doormat….wish it was a little more afforadble! 🙁
You definitely look like you’re enjoying your massage!
It’s a great thing that you love your golden baths. You sure look like you’re enjoying it too.
Have a woof woof day Sugar. My best to your mom. 🙂
That shammy is pretty awesome! I might have to get us one to drying after being out in the rain! Love the video! Did you find using Vimeo easier than Youtube?
Sugar sure looks like you are enjoying your bath and your super shammy. Have a tremendous Thursday.
Best wishes Molly
You absolutely look as if you are in heaven, Sugar, while being washed and dried. That final photo prior to the video makes our mommy want to give you smooches ’cause you look so adorable. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
I have NO place in our yard to give my girls a bath — the entire area by the only backyard faucet turns into one big mud puddle when it gets wet. So, Auntie Andrea gives Callie & Shadow their baths at her grooming shop; Ducky gets her baths at daycare . It’s just a lot less strenuous and stressful on all of us than trying to get them in the bathtub. I might try the super shammy, though, for drying them off after we’ve been out in the rain for a potty break.
You make baths look like fun Sugar! But we know different. 🙂
Boomer and Dottie feel that the only part of a bath that’s any good is the rub down… maybe I should look into this!
You are soooooo cute in those photos!
Oh, that looks like a FABulous product Sugar! I, too, go through AT LEAST four towels dryin’ off my shiny furs! (Ma often wonders where all the water is comin’ from!! BOL)
this is gonna be something she wants to check out fursure!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
WOW!!!! That Super Shammy sounds like it can do the job and then some! I love your video, Sugar. Just pawesome.

This reminds me that I really need to give my boys a bath. It’s been awhile, so they’re definitely due.
As always, you look beautiful!
Sugar you look a lot happier than I do at bath time 😉 But even I would love being rubbed down by that Super Shammy…You look like you’re in heaven, especially in your video 🙂
I wish my Golden Max had liked baths and the water as much as Sugar. I hope my next Golden does. Cute pics!
Love the video Sugar. I’m thinking Stone Manor needs a super shammy!!
I think this is the first time I’ve seen you getting an outdoor bath, Sugar, and you look so cute getting it! I don’t think there are a lot of dogs that really like baths….and that must make it so much easier for your Mom, so what a good dog you are! That super shammy looks awesome, and I loved the video….great job!
We have a Soggy Doggy Doormat and we love it! this looks like it would be great for after bath drying
hugs
Bailey, Hazel & Greta
Except for the eye-squinting, you really do look like you’re enjoying your bath. My Lab Maya likes baths (likes, not loves). And she loves the drying part. It’s always a challenge for me to dry her because she wants to play with the towel or shammy.
The shammy sounds like a cool product and you seem to be lovin’ it, Sugar! Sage likes being toweled off–her version of a quicky massage–so I’ll be on the lookout for it.
Sugar, the Super Shammy looks pawsome! My boys are smaller, but have lots of hair. They could use something like this to speed up drying time. Love your bathtime photos. You are a very smart girl to close your eyes when necessary. Wish I could teach my one boy to do that when I rinse his head.
I love the photos!!
Sugar these are some of your best pics! I think I must get a shammy 🙂
what a great product. I can tell by the pictures that you really enjoyed getting dried off with that
That towel does look interesting. It takes lots of big towels to get me dry!
BOL!!! Lucky you don’t need the blow dryer like I do! BOL!! Poms have to be blow-dried to prevent mildew/coat rot. The fur is normally too thick for natural air flow. Upside is we don’t get wet to the skin from rain. BOL!! have to part fur to wet skin, or dunk in pool.
Hugs,
Pepper
Sugar, stop it! You’re killing me! You’re always super cute, but these bath photos are just the cutest! But wait. There’s a secret here. I’m 99.9% certain that your mom is taking all the great photos… so who’s bathing you?
I used to wash Chester with Buddy Was. He used to tent toward itchy skin and the wash soothed it.
You look like you love your baths. We need to find ourselves that towel. We go through 2 regular towels to dry Roy…and he is soo small!
