First, we would like to thank everyone who joined us on our 1st Year This Moment See Beautiful blog hop. We appreciate the beauty you’ve shared with us.
Last year, when lived in HI, I was accustomed to seeing a body of water everyday.
There’s something about looking at a body of water that makes me and my mom smile.
For the past months, this is the pond my mom and I often visit after our morning walk.
We usually sit on one of the benches. We enjoy watching the beautiful “life” that occurs in the pond and its surroundings.
4 Reasons Why We Are Drawn To A Body Of Water.
1) It makes us SMILE and Happy.
2) It is calming.
3) There’s always varying reflections on the water of its beautiful surroundings.
4) It is incredible to witness the beauty of life on the pond. Many water lilies have bloomed, fishes continue to populate, and there’s always newborn ducks on the pond.

WE love WATER also… except when there is SHAMPOO involved. Your entire POST is just BEAUTIFUL Sugar.
Beautiful water lily. What a nice spot to relax after a walk. Thanks for sharing its beauty.

What a great place to take a walk! Mom feels the same way about water views. She longs to live in a house by the water! Have a great weekend all! 🙂
Love the pics. We love love water. I am sad we missed todays blog hop, I didn’t look at my calender.
Very beautiful!
Sam
that water lily is fantastic… looking out over the gulf waters or the Atlantic waters is what we love the most
My mom is very organized but I have had to put my paws down about her organization of my blog. I am demanding that she starts a calendar for my posts. There are so many different events, dates, and blog hops, we just can’t keep them all in mind. We plan things in advance but it is all in mom’s head and in my blog drafts. Maybe if we get this on the calendar I can join in more often. Very beautiful water pics 🙂 Have a beautiful day!
Your mom is very good to you Sugar. You get to go to so many wonderful places. That’s pawsome.
Have a woof woof day. My best to your mom. 🙂
My Mom and I LOVE water too and Mom used to teach swimming and she was also a lifeguard. Mom desperately wants to live by water!
Years ago, a friend of Mom’s figured out Mom’s name using numerology….guess what it came out to mean? “water!!!”
Plus Mom has to drink over 120 ounces of water a day for her kidney stones! She’s all washed up! BOL!
Barks and licks and love, Dakota
DUCKIES!!! I love baby ducks. I need a pond in my backyard so I can have baby ducks year round.
Wait. Strike that. No I don’t.
We would like to have a water lily and a pond – they are really beautiful. Have a golden Friday beautiful Sugar!
That’s a very beautiful place to see the water and everything going on there! Our mommy is going to HI this fall and just thinking of seeing all the water there is making her smile already!
What beautiful pictures!
Thanks for sharing.
Your pond sure is beautiful Sugar. Have a fabulous Friday.
Best wishes Molly
Beautiful photos! Happy Friday!
Hi Sugar… Sometimes Mom finds me sitting by my water fountain staring at the ripples…I agree they are most calming.
Hugs madi your bFFF
Oh, yes, we agree the water is very calming! We love living by the ocean. 🙂 (Although we are not always calm…. Boy, imagine how we’d be if we DIDN’T live by the ocean!)
Beautiful! I, too, love the water. It brings such inner peace!
That is a beautiful setting for relaxing and enjoying each other’s company.
A long time ago — 20 years — our Mom lived near the beach. But she doesn’t like crowds, so she hardly ever spent time there. But she loves mountain lakes and waterfalls! Luckily, the mountains are not far away.
There is something truly peaceful about water, not just looking at it, but listening to it as well.
I loves lookin’ at water too Sugar! Very relaxin’!
You certainly are beautifuls, too!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Sugar….
Wait. What?! You used to reside in Hawaii?! Cool!! I have been to Maui. What island did you live on? Just curious…. 😉
I, too, am drawn to bodies of water. Oceans. Rivers. Creeks. Ponds. You name it!! ;op

Momz & I are very lucky to live across the street from a lake…we spend time almost every day down by the water…There’s always something to watch there, and sometimes just sit and relax Have a beautiful weekend Sugar!
Sugar Sugar this is so so beautiful and very true.

I’m so glad that I returned to the land of the internet in time for See Beautiful! I love your pond and your tradition of sitting by it after your walk. It sounds so peaceful.

Mollie and Alfie
What a beautiful place to walk, Sugar! And very beautiful captures of it! We don’t really live close enough to any bodies of water to go walking there. But we’d really love to live near the water someday… whether it’s a lake, the ocean, a big pond, whatever.
I wasn’t on the ball enough to have something ready for the blog hop this time. Much beauty always around… just don’t think to capture it when it’s in front of me. Too much going on with my mother being sick and all. I will definitely make it happen next month, though.
Looks lovely and serene. It’s nice to have spots to visit like that.
great photos – love the light and the beautiful water! 🙂
Beautiful pictures. We love water too. 🙂
