Watermelon is a great summer fruit, my golden retriever loves it specially in hot days.
Most people don’t know or never thought about it, but there are plenty of fruits and vegetables you can give to your dog, these fruits and vegetables when given occasionally will strengthen your dog’s health and many will enjoy it same way they enjoy treats. However keep in mind dogs aren’t vegetarian.
However there are a few foods you shouldn’t give to your dog, and these are: Chocolate, Coffee, Caffeine, anything containing Alcohol, Avocado, Macadamia Nuts, Grapes, Raisins, Yeast Dough, Raw/Undercooked Meat, Eggs and Bones, Xylitol, Onions, Garlic, Chives, Milk and Salt.
