Last week, we attended Total Pet Expo (formerly H.H. Baker Show).
As a blogger, we got a PRESS badge in which we were allowed to take photos.
4 Reasons Why A Blogger Attends Pet Expo
1) Learn and find new products. Know what’s trending.
Lots of toys and clothing accessories from the show Duck Dynasty.
Clothing for dogs has gone model style. I had an opportunity to try one of Legitimutt coat, created by Kristy Hinze, project runway model. There were tons of professional sports licensing dog products. Our favorite are MVP Dogs and In Dog We Trust.
How about a raincoat with a hoodie. Golden Cool!
We Golden LOVE the Dogi Mat that can be multi purpose as a dog bed.
I’m not a cat but we could not resist checking out the cat toilets and furniture playground.
Of course, we had to check out Poop Company’s, a) EarthRated . Check out the “gold” poop display b) PoopBags and Doggie Walk Bags which had a “very” real poop display on their booth. Definitely, we will be talking about these companies on our “poop” (Scoop That Poop) posts.
2) Get to meet who is behind the “brand” you love.
Golden Honored to meet the team from PAWZ and inventors Gary & Michael Friedland.
Golden FUN to meet the founder of Dog Tread, Krista Wickens. I got to try some of their equipments and received a K9FitVest.
I invite you check out my recent Stair Climb video where I featured K9FitVest.
Always, Golden Happy to see Jones Natural Chews and they brought their dog mascot to the show. Do you know Grizzly Pollock? It’s a Dog Food Supplement and its PAWsome. It makes my food extra tasty. Golden Surprise that one of the girls at Jax n Bones dog beds recognized me from our review post.
3) Get to Taste DELISH Treats
Oh Halo‘s Liv-a-Little is my favorite and Golden Good they were giving samples. Another favorite of mine is Zukes and they provide me some very large DELISH treats. I just got a bath and the guys from the Cloud Star recognized my fur smell Lavender & Mint They also provided me some treat samples.
4) Great place to have a blog meet-up.
I went with Dolly from Dolly the Doxie. I also met Andrea from Sweetie Pup. I also met Sargent, the dog model for PupLight. There were so many dogs that attended but 2 painted dogs caused an attraction. According to the owner, an artist, she used a permanent dog safe paint.
If your town/city has a pet expo, find some time to attend.
Lots of Golden L♥VE n Woofs
SUGAR
Heaps of stuff to look at and try!
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Hi Sugar **waves paw** What a pawsome day out, and so many things to try, I wonder if they do anything like that in the UK for my hoomum to go too.
Have a pawsome weekend xxxx
Sounds like a lot of fun! If there were an expo in our town our humans would have to go alone because we’re still working on some issues we have with other dogs. They could always bring us back some treats though!
Mac and Maisie
Hi Y’all!
Sugar you are so lucky! We are so rural a gospel sing is a big thing…and I don’t get to go to those.

Oh yea, you sure had a good time Sugar, but then again, you always do!!!
Oh what an adventure. Why we haven’t such great events here? Are those really cat toilets? At least you were there and informed me about all those great things ! Golden thanks, Sugar
Sugar what a great Expo full of fun and friendly folks!!
You are such a good K9 ambassador!!
Hugs Madi your bfff
We’re ready to attend and would so love to attend, but there are no expos here, very frustrating!
Beautiful photos Sugar! And it looks like a lot of fun too. Our dog Tater does not do well in large groups but us humans really are inspired to check out an expo now! I really liked that rain jacket with the clear hood. Tater likes to go out in the rain but having only one eye he gets nervous with a hood on. I bet he would be ok with something like that. Thanks for sharing this experience!
Why, why, why can’t we have something like that near us?
Your Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Lucky you Sugar. We don’t have anything like that here…wish we did. Have a super Saturday.
Best wishes Molly
Pawsome photos Sugar! Looks like you had a great time! When we have expos here we do our best to go!
So that’s why we went! Thanks! Love Dolly
Looks like so much fun Sugar! The doggy rain coat does look pretty cool. And I like that tiger doggy!
Hi Sugar! Thanks for the reminder. There’s a Super Pet Expo that happens a couple times of year nearby. I’ll definitely go next time!
Wow – very fun! Rita would hate that, but I’d love it! Super cool!
Wows Sugar! Sure looks like you did lots of schmoozing and networking! Ma LOVES those poop bags! she likes that they are big enough for MOI, and that they come in black! Ma likes the black bags, and they have a tie top that can tie to the leash too!
Looks like a great expo Sugar!!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Would love to go to a pet expo! So far, we haven’t hosted any in my city, even though we have perfect event venues for them.
Looks like you got to check out a lot of neat new stuff, plus get a bunch of familiar treats and see familiar faces! Fun!
Wow, that really looked awesome, Sugar. I wish they had something like that closer to my home!
I don’t remember Greenville, SC, ever having a Pet Expo in the 20 years I’ve lived here. They hosted a dog show of sorts back in 199? but it was so poorly attended that it was never held again. Kinda disappointing, but not surprising since a lot of dog owners in this town seem to think of their dogs as toys to be abandoned like an old, childhood toy. It breaks my heart!
You look great in everything, Miss Sugar, and with everyone a
s well!!! Love and Hugs, Marni and Rudy Poo 🙂
What a pawesome event!! We have a pet expo in Portland, but yours is bigger and grander! We can see why you are so happy to be there, Sugar!
Wyatt and Stanzie
What a great day out for you Sugar and what interesting things you showed us all that golden poop was a sight to behold…hehe 🙂 have a great weekend hugs Fozziemum x
Lots of great reason! 🙂
Thanks! I wanted to attend our pet expo, but wasn’t able to. I do plan to make time for it next year.
Looks like you had a great time Sugar!
I went to my first pet expo earlier this year, Superzoo. It was great for seeing the up-and-coming products. I determined that it was not a great place for making brand contacts though. The majority of the people staffing the booths were general representatives – not PR, marketing or management…..the kind of people that can hook a blogger up with demos. I tried to talk to everyone at first. Later, I would chat with the person for a minute to see what kind of position they held in the company. If they were a general representative, I just gawked, took notes and contacted the brand when I got home. There was a lot to see so time was of the essence!
Lots of good reasons to attend Expo Sugar. Glad you got the opportunity.
