Golden Love that I’m able to experience the change of season. My favorite season is Fall. The colors, weather and beautiful sights makes it pawfect for long walks. Golden Delighted to walk and hear crunchy noises of colorful leaves on the ground. However, my Golden Freedom to walk on field of leaves gets spoiled by un-scooped poop.
For the past weeks, we (my mom) has unfortunately stepped on camouflaged unscooped poop. The poop made a yucky mess on my mom’s new gym shoes. Our walk was cut short. Also, the clean up was disgusting.
Scoop your dog’s poop no matter what the weather. Based on our readings, many evade scooping their dogs poop during Fall and Winter seasons. Why? Many think its alright because of the cooler/colder weather and less likely to see the poop, simply “silly” reasoning. Be A Responsible Dog Owner for your DOG, for other Dogs, and for your Community.
Many Golden Thanks again to EarthRated for being our Poop Patrol prize sponsors.

My boys and I would love to enter your giveaway!
You know, we have a lot of dogs on campus, but I’ve never seen any poop. I doubt all of the owners are cleaning it up, so I’m guessing someone else is.
Great point! I think lots of people don’t pick up, especially in the fall because leaves are a good excuse! Happy scooping!
Trophy post. Leaves really hide the poop so really need to scoop. Thanks for the hop
You are right it seems more peeps leave poops when the leaves and snow is on the ground. Out of sight out of mind I guess is what they think. So not right. And it is not ever out of our mind, especially when we step in it. Yes even I, Goose, have had the displeasure of stepping in poo. YUCK! You think it is disgusting for MOM to clean off her shoe, try cleaning my paw off in mid walks. Not fun for MOM and not fun for me.
Blessings,
Goose
I’d love to try these poop bags. Please enter me in the giveaway.
It seems a lot easier to spot, and scoop right away.
Mom says …. If WE make it….. she MUST Take it. Nobuddy like SMASHED POOPS.
I’m sorry about your new gym sneakers! It’s completely backwards for people to not scoop because of fallen leaves or snow, people are crazy!
Thank goodness we do not have to worry about camoflauged poop here in Florida…there’s not many leaves on the ground…ever. However, we have been finding all kinds of poop in our neighborhood so our patrol is endless.

We are always good scoopers…well our pawrents are anyway.
Sugar is as beautiful as ever! So sorry for the mess! Dog poop is a huge environmental problem envy time of year and dog owners need to remember that. Weather changes has no effect on what dog poop does to the water shed, or to people’s shoes for that matter… Keep on scooping! #easyscoopapoop
Exactly! We hate lurking poops! We gotta get a post together. Mom is behind the ball and today is her long run day and she acts real lazy after the old woman runs 13 miles.
Your Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
I agree with you, covered with leaves the landmines are dangerous and it’s not easy to notice when your shoes are decorated, because leaves are anyway slippery. Have a super monday, hope your paws and your mommas shoes are always undecorated.
Oh Sugar we know your mom’s aggravation and disgust as Mom has stepped hidden poop too I was kind of slick too she was lucky not to fall.
Hugs Madi your bfff
Well… it’s called “fall” for a reason… because poop just falls and nobody picks it up, which is why it’s more likely to step on doggy droppings this time of year! (OK, maybe this joke is a stretch, but I felt a moral obligation to share, given that I contributed a slightly off-topic post about pee to the scoop-the-poop dog blog.)
I came to say thank you so much for the visit with loving comments when we lost our sweet boy. So appreciated and helped us so much. Hugs Carol x
Thank you again for hosting this wonderful event! We are happy we could be part of it and excited to participate in the giveaway!
Thanks for the great giveaway. Hate those surprises under the leaves!
Sugar – your post is very timely! We recently moved into a new home and discovered our front and side lawns have been designated the neighborhood “poop spot.” The HOA even put up signs in our yard asking people to pick up after their dogs. Very frustrating! I hope everyone sees your blog and realizes how important it is to #ScoopThatPoop! Much love, The Scottie Mom.
Hi Sugar, Nothing bugs me more than seeing another dogs poop left unattended-especially if it is in my front yard. It is frustrating-especially if you step in it. Great post and giveaway.
Wags,Noreen & Hunter
We agree … with all those leaves got to get to it straight away. However at home having to sweep the a lot everyday to make sure we can we where to pick up. Don’t want to go squish. Great message as always Sugar.
Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
I love this time of year. Hope you were safe from that crazy weather

Poop patrol is very important with all the leaves! Good job spreading the word to scoop the poop!
that’s awful that your mom had to step in unscooped poop that was hiding in the leaves.
I didn’t blog about funny poop – frankly, not scooping just isn’t funny – but I did mention your blog today, Sugar. It’s a good thing you’re doing here!
Yuck-a-roo, must scoop the poo!
We would love to participate in the giveaway. Dad tries to keep the leaves cleaned up in our yard just for that reason, they hide the poop.
hugs

Good message Sugar, I’ve stepped in a couple camo piles myself. Which is upsetting, twice I’ve slipped and then I have that nasty stuff on my shoes!! Yuck! Keep up the good work of getting the message out!
Good point about scooping in the Fall. It is a bummer to step in some leaves and and find something yucky hiding underneath.
Poop in leaves is the worst! We keep finding deer poop that way! Lee and Phod
We would love to be a part of the giveaway!! There is nothing worse than trying to clean off a brand new pair of shoes that have stepped in poop! It’s awful!!
xo Chloe and LadyBug
Wow, that’s really silly that people think they don’t have to scoop in the fall/winter. When we lived where we had actual fall/winter weather, I always found it easier to scoop then! Much easier to pick up a handful of snow/leaves w/ the poop, then trying to pick it up off hot, dry grass in the summer! People are goofy.
Yes! Enter me in the giveaway please!
Thanks Sugar – great point! Our responsibility for picking up the poop is year-round!
The fall leaves make it so much worse since it’s almost impossible to see it coming! It’s definitely more important to clean it up this time of year, and always!
Winter Spring Summer or Fall – gotta’ scoop! Mom has no problem scooping my poop or scooping up other dog’s poop, but she HATES to get it on her shoes because it’s so difficult to get it out of the treads of running shoes. What a pain!
Garth
Yipee. Excited to win. Thanks for hosting Sugar!
