February is Responsible Pet Owners Month.
A responsible dog owner that loves his/her dog picks up poop.
It’s not a choice, it is a crucial part of dog ownership. We started Scoop That Poop Campaign August 2013. One of the main reasons we started Scoop That Poop Campaign is to bring awareness to the importance of scooping dog’s poop. Scoop That Poop Campaign’s intention is to make a positive difference.
We are re-sharing the infographic we collaborated with Dogster to kick off our Scoop That Poop Campaign, 5 Reasons Dog Owners Must Scoop That Poop
Below is the ScoopThatPoop video we created last August 2013.

Keep in mind that no matter what the weather is You MUST Pick Up Your Dog’s Poop #ScoopThatPoop.
There is No Poop Fairy and the Winter Elf is just a Myth.
Yes, its been a bad winter for many of us. Many are complaining of excessive snow and frigid temperatures. Many complain about having frost fingers and unable to open a poop bag.
Well our friends from Earthrated, eco-friendsly poop bags, created a special gloves. They want to help dog owners eliminate their fear of taking off their gloves, while also allowing them to actually open a poop bag to scoop that poop. Thus, evolved the #FrostFingers remedy gloves. Join our giveaway and win a pair of Earthrated #FrostFingers Remedy gloves and Earthrated Poop Bags.
A final reminder to everyone that Picking up Your Dog’s Poop is an All Seasons Responsibility, #ScoopThatPoop.
Giveaway ends: 2/24, Comment and Tweet Daily #ScoopThatPoop blog hop will be open till Friday 2/21

I’ll be joining tomorrow as you know. Great reminders for everyone!
I’ll admit, I’m lazy in the winter when the boys go poop in the yard and I don’t always pick it up. I was looking out at the backyard the other day though, and I think it’s time to clean it up. I can’t let rain and snow always be an excuse.
You are the most pawsome Scoop the Poop host!
Great blog hop.
Keep on scooping! 🙂

I so need these – I can never get into the poo bags and have ended up with having to use my mouth (only on empty bags obviously!!) Plus I am horrendous and usually managed to end up getting some on hand!
Nice poop review 🙂 Happy scooping!

We are proud our Lady scoops!
It is so very important now matter the season, that is for sure. On Friday my MOM took me to the Petco, a little birthday shopping. We very lucky to get a parking spot right in front. We went in, I shopped and when we came out there was a beautiful Doberman with her MOM. We sniffed hello and as we got in the Blazer we noticed that the poor Doberman mom stepped in a big pile of poop, right by our vehicles!! The kick in the head was there was a poop bag dispenser RIGHT THERE!!!! Someone let there dog poop right my the poop bag dispenser and then just walked away! The poor lady. MOM got out and with one of our Earthrated bags and picked up the mess as best she could. Thanks Sugar for being such a good friend and reminding us all how important this is.
Blessings,
Goose
Sugar, it looks like your mom need some #FrostFingers Gloves! Why, she is opening a poop bag in the snow with her bare hands! Brrrrrrr. So GOLDEN glad to be a Scooper!

It’s so true that gloves make it impossible to open up bags, I usually have to take mine off. The other problem is that all the poop in my yard is frozen to the ground! I’ve tried very hard to pick it up, but need to wait for a warm day. It’s going to be a doozy out there! yuck!
We are always amazed at how inconsiderate folks are.

I clean up after the girls at least once a day, especially on rainy days. Why? Not just because it’s healthier for all of us that way; but also because I don’t want hubby stepping in it and then dragging it in the house. (He doesn’t always watch where he’s stepping out there, no matter how many times I’ve asked him to. LOL) I’m sure you all know what it’s like to scrape poop out from between the grooves in a pair of walking shoes….not fun at all!) So, my best defense is a solid offense — clean it up every time I go out in the yard.
PS I use a “pooper scooper” in the back yard so I don’t have to take off my gloves. And we only go to the park — 20 minutes away — when it’s nice out. Snow and rain are hard on Callie’s and Shadow’s hips, especially on asphalt walking paths!
People not cleaning up their pup’s poop is probably part of the reason there is such a stigma on dogs not being allowed many places. It is highly unpleasant to step in poop (yes, even fellow dog lovers and owners do not enjoy it). Great way to raise awareness Sugar!
We’d like to participate in your contest too.
I hate having to take off my gloves but It’s all part of the process. I would love to be entered for a chance to win these gloves!
We are happy scoopers too and you are a great host Sugar. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
What a great idea to prevent frozen fingers. I’m such a firm believer in poop scooping. It’s called being a responsible citizen.

BOL! Scooper Hero! Love it!
I think the worst news I’ve heard all day is that there is no winter elf to scoop the poop for me. 🙁
I always scoop. That’s not true of some of those in my neighborhood.
When I see it I say something and have given the people a bag if they say they don’t have one.
Sure, i’d like to enter the contest.
Spread the word and Scoop that Poopy

What a great product!! We are lucky that it hasn’t been that cold here, but it has been rainy. Mama gets out in between showers to clean up our poopies!

I couldn’t believe how many people left poop behind when we had the brief snow here in Seattle. For the most educated city in the country there sure are a lot of dumb people; the poop doesn’t melt away with he snow! I suppose even if only needed once a year here, those frost fingers would help a lot of people be more responsible.
This is a fabulous post! Believe it or not, many of my fellow Californians are pretty clueless about the importance of scooping up their dogs’ poop! There is no snow here…so there should be no excuse! Arggh… 🙁
We just walked by a lady who wasn’t going to pick up her dog. So I asked her if she needed a poop bag. She said yes and picked it up. Yay!
Winter sure makes scooping hard, but gotta do it. 🙂
Great post Sugar, all seasons the poop must be picked up.
What a great idea! I could have used these this winter!
I want to participate in the giveaway 🙂
