    We are baseball fans, but sadly our team really stinks and it looks like it will be another bad year but we are hoping maybe a miracle will happen and the Twins will be good.

    I was surprised when I realized that baseball was starting again. With all the snow it is really hard to see the baseball!

    Opening day….yay…another sign of spring! We don’t follow real closely, but I come from a family of Red Sox fans, so I can’t help but pay attention to how they’re doing and we do watch some games.
    I love the photo and the quote!

    Love the quote, Sugar! YAY for opening day!! Means that spring may be around the corner although looking out the kitchen window at snow doesn’t seem like it’ll ever get here.

      The Yanks are my American League team and they wisely gave “my” B-Mac a contract when my Braves stupidly refused to work with him to keep him in Atlanta. I hope he does well up there! Brian’s the best catcher Atlanta ever had but the love of money clouded their judgement.

    I’M READY!! I have my Atlanta Braves warm up jacket, my baseball cap, and my John Smoltz jersey. But I’m gonna miss “MY” B-Mac (Brian McCann). Hopefully he’ll be catching when my Braves play my NY Yankees! But I’ll watch the games on TV — I’m not going to drive 2.5 hours to Atlanta and another 2.5 hours back to Greenville to sit in those horrid stadium seats and not be able to see anything. BOL! Hope you get to enjoy a few games at Wrigley Field!!

    Do you like to go to baseball games, Sugar? My Human says some of the minor leagues that have played near where she and Papa used to live had nights when it was family day and gos could go.
