Woofs, Sugar here … we are back from the BlogPaws 2014 Conference.
This year, BlogPaws was held in the Westin Hotel, Lake Las Vegas, known as “the other Las Vegas.” First and foremost, we are thrilled that there were no gambling and slot machines at the Westin. As a Starwood members, we are very pleased with Westin’s dog-friendly service and accommodation. We will share more about our stay on a further post.
We attended BlogPaws’14 with the opportunity to incorporate a road trip. We did an eleven Day Road Trip! It was Lots of Golden FUN! If you follow us on social media particularly on IG and FB you saw many of my photos. We will share more about our PAWsome #GoldenWoofsRoadTrip on a future post.
Here are the 5 Best Parts Attending BlogPaws
1) Meet Bloggie Friends
We met many many PAWsome doggie friends and their moms too. Woofs to my old friends Dolly and Rocco. Golden Happy to finally meet GBGV Emma and Bailie (which we hung out a lot), and Bella and Terra from Cattle Aussie. Always Golden Delight to see Pepper and Sophia Lauren and their outfits.
Special Woofs to meet Christina from The Lazy Pit Bull, Melissa from Barking from Bayou, Tracy from PawsomeCats, Susan from Life and Dogs and Cats, Joan from Bocci’s Beefs, Stacy from Pets Weekly, Cat from Nailah Bone, sweet caring Emmy, Jan and Ameila from Cat n Birdie.
Speaking of CATS, we met many cat bloggers that read our blog. Special Golden MEOW to BeadedTail, Prancer Price and Angel GingerJasper. We love the group photo, which I’m the only doggy 🙂
Lastly, Woofs to Larry Kay from Positively Woof. A big congratulation on your new book Life’s A BARK (we will be reviewing soon).
2) Meet The Brands
It was PAWsome to know that many of the brands knew us. Special Thanks to…
Merrick Pet Care for the super DELISH Tasty Pot Roast luncheon. I Golden Enjoyed it!
My mom would like to thank Hills Pet for the coffee bar and discussion lunch. We hope more cats get adopted.
Woofs to PetSafe‘s BarkPark and many Golden Thanks for all the goodies. We are very excited to be part of 2014 PetSafe Paw Print Blogger Summit
3) Learning more about Blogging and Pet’s Health
We’ve been blogging for a long time but we find blogging is like technology, it’s continuous learning. My mom took lots of notes on the sessions while it gave me an opportunity to take a Golden Nap 🙂
Woofs to Arden Moore for her Pet First Aid Demo session. It inspired my mom to get certified. Zeki was an awesome cat.
4) FUN Event/Speaker/Goodies/Prizes
We hung out a lot at the cat lounge where there were cool stuff for cats. Thursday night we participated in DIY Cat Ears. Mom made me one 🙂 Golden Happy with BlogPaws 2014 Swag Bag.
We don’t usually win anything but Golden Happy to win 2 prizes.
We won a BZtat Contemporary Custom Pet Portrait and Fitbit Zip from HABRI who delivered a PAWsome presentation about Human Animal Bond. Will share more about it on a future post.
5) Enjoy the Beautiful Scenery
We woke up early and enjoyed watching the beautiful sunrise. We would like to thank Flea in joining us for an afternoon walk.

Sometimes mom wonders if she was at the same conference as everyone else. She misses too much and it really bothers her why, especially after she told herself not to let it happen this year. Thanks for filling us in on what we missed! Love Dolly
