Sugar here, Reminding Everyone
To SLOW Down, LOOK Carefully in All Directions
Once the light changes to Red, STOP
Prevent Accidents!
We were on an 11day road trip and we observed that many drivers did not obey the meaning of a red light, STOP!

We were on a nineteen day road trip and observed some horrifyingly dangerous driving as well. Thank goodness we all made it home safely! I certainly wish that for everyone….
Hey Sugar, we just got back from a 15 day road trip. I slept through most of the driving. But when I was awake, I too observed some reckless driving. I barked at a few crazies trying to overtake us when they are not supposed too.

Always good to remember safety on the road. So far we’ve been lucky and have avoided the crazy drivers. I’ve had to stop quickly a few times though, so I’m always careful now to buckle Sadie into her car seat.
Glad you’re back safe and sound then 😉
Where’dya get that big sign from Sugar?
Lots of Woofs from Earl and I at Earl’s World!
We agree! Over here in Switzerland, it is not so bad… but people drive very, very fast and right up to your bumper. In Italy, though, no one stops at stop signs OR at crosswalks! Yikes.

We don’t have very many stoplights around here. But we do need to always be careful on the road, never know when the cows are going to be crossing or the wild turkeys will foraging in your path.
Around here people area always going through stop signs, especially in the neighborhoods, so we have to be extra careful when we are out walking and running.
I hope you don’t drive through Arkansas – we have THE WORST drivers in the whole USA here and Mom and Dad have lived all over the USA so they know what is bad !
You are so right, Sugar. Better to be safe than sorry!
Great photo btw!

It surely seems that there are a lot of people that think traffic laws apply to everyone but themselves! Be safe!
Always need to drive safe.
Sometimes our mom does Perry County ROLLING STOPS… and we keep telling her that is NOT RIGHT.
Always good stuff to remember, we see ton of idiots out there in our travels.
Slowing down is so important
Where we live you can count on AT LEAST 3 cars going through once the light turns red. They are pretty much idiot drivers down here.
Leave it to Sugar to remind everyone to behave–always with a smile!

Great advice! Happy Sunday!
I’m glad that you made it home safely. It is all of those people carrying on phone conversations instead of driving. I hate to drive these days. There are so real wackos behind the wheel.
I agree with you Sugar, some people are not careful when they drive a car, that’s a no-go. I’m glad you had a good trip and you are back at home. Have a good sunday!
Safety first! Glad you made it home safely. People need to slow down and stop being in such a hurry. I wish they realized that getting pulled over or into an accident will make them later for whatever appointment they may have than driving safely and lawfully will. I think people also get too competitive and aggressive about driving.
Great reminder Sugar, thank you! Great photo too. 🙂
Unfortunate, but so true. Something about getting behind the wheel makes some people forget they have brains.
We are so glad you and your mom and dad made it home safely!! Welcome back!
Soooo much of the reckless driving that is all around us every single day could be prevented if phones didn’t work in cars. Instead, car manufacturers make it easier and easier (with every newer model they develop) for drivers to be distracted. Combine phones with drivers thinking that everywhere they’re going is more important than lives, and you get what we’ve got. Hopefully Volvo’s research will make these types of drivers obsolete–and soon. Of course, a bunch of drivers would then figure out how to jailbreak the computers in the cars to override the cars’ safety features; so we’d be right back to where we are. People like that being everywhere is why safety belt harnesses and crates are so necessary for dogs in vehicles.
Hey Sugar that was a long road trip! I hope youtooklots of books and games

Very good advice Sugar thanks! Love Dolly
Great advice STOP and think. Have a serene Sunday and let us all enjoy some big easy today.
Best wishes Molly
Glad you made it back safely! Did you bark at the offenders?
That’s sad. Humans need to slow down and pay attention to what they are doing.
It’s always scary to encounter those drivers while out on the road!
thats right Sugar. A very important message

no road trip here…i Flew lol….but I agree. Last year I moved to Mississippi from California, being back in CA to visit my parents made me realize how crazy drivers are here. Speeding and complete disregard for road signs.
Good safety warning Sugar!
Great warning, Sugar!

Great message there Sugar! It’s true that a lot of people don’t pay attention to the red light… In fact someone ran into the back of me a couple of months back because I stopped when the light turned Amber and apparently they didn’t!
Luckily, Chow wasn’t in the car. But I make sure he has a car restraint on because you never know when it can happen.
Great advise!! Mum always has us sit next to her at a stop sign and light. Good practice!
We were on a road trip this weekend too. Driving is stressful because even if you do it well, there’s no saying that everyone else around you will be cautious.
Very cute photo! and so important to stop indeed!
