We shared on previous posts that I, Sugar, have a problem … I don’t drink enough WATER.
My mom had to be creative to entice me to drink more water.
If you follow our blog, you’ve seen the fruity ice mom makes for me.
This time she made it in a shaped of my favorite toy, KONG.
KONG Shaped Berry Ice Treats
Ingredients
Ginger Water (boiled water w/ ginger; let it cool before pouring into the mold)
Blueberries and Strawberries

These are awesome treats Sugar!! They would definitely entice us to drink more water!! Mama is always reminding us to drink more too!! Thanks for the great recipe!
These look yummy…might be good for Vegas since it will be so hot!
We are going to have to try these this summer! Great job, Sugar!!
those sure look tasty
retro rover
they look fab
Interesting…I’ve never made anything with ginger water before. I’ll have to try it.
Sugar, that is a very good idea to make sure that way you drink enough. And it looks delicious, my mom will use your recipe for a cold punch bowl, many thanks!
They look like berry snowmen, Sugar! Now all they need are carrots for noses and some pretzel stick arms …
Good trick to get you to drink more water – and I bet they are nice and cool for the summertime.
Where did you get the ice mold? It is adorable…I am going to make these for my 3 golden boys…
Debbie, the mold is available at Petsmart and I think Petco too. Golden Woofs
Those look great Sugar! I will definitely try this summer! 🙂
I love the idea of using ginger water in these and think they look so yummy that I might make them in my popsicle molds so Woof Woof Papa and I can also enjoy them ourselves! I bet they’d also be good as ice cubes in iced tea or lemonade! I love treats that Daisy and I can share!!!
Too funny Sugar. Years ago my Gma Lou (who did not like water) was told to drink more. She asked the dr. if the water in Coffee counted. ….that was creative for sure
Hugs madi your bfff
Too cute! I love the Kong shape and what fun colors!
I will only drink “outdoor” water unless I’m really thirsty. Mom says there is no difference between a bowl inside and a bowl outside, but that is a lie!
I love this mold! I need to add it to my “wish” list! 🙂
Clever mum and what a great way to make sure you have enough water Sugar and keeps you cool too. Have a terrific tasty Tuesday.
Best wishes Molly
Even I would eat one of those Kong-shaped fruity ice treats!! I have to get some of those molds for the girls’ treats!!
You are one very lucky girl, Sugar!! Your Mom (and Dad) love you very much!!
Sounds like a simple enough recipe while still making sure you stay hydrated 🙂
OKAY Sugar…. these treats SOUND great….. BUTT we are kinda SCARED about them… They look a bit like…
{{{SNOW FREAKS}}} Just sayin.
That was very smart on moms part

Wow! Kong ice trays are so cool! (Hey that’s kind of a joke!) Sugar, you need to write a recipe book!
What a great idea!!! Mom uses ice cubes to get us to take more water.
FABulous Sugar!!!! Ma thinks I drink too much water!! BOL
Butts this sounds mighty tasty! I give it 4 paws up!!!! Whoops…that’s hard to do while standin’….
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Sugar is a lucky doggy fur sure!
