September starts the apple season.
Apples are a good source of fiber and vitamin C. Apples are considered a healthy snack for dogs.
What’s the best way to peel an apple?
Many use a knife or peeler. I like using a gadget called Back To Basic Apple Peeler Corer Slicer. I’ve tried many apple peelers and the Apple Peeler Corer Slicer is the best. It has a suction base that anchors to any smooth surface.
It makes perfect 1/4 inch thick apple slices. The apples slices are perfect for fresh eating and making tasty treats. Apple Peeler Corer Slicer peels, cores and slices apples in one fast cool way.
Have you tried freezing slices of apples?
I froze some sliced apples with toasted oats and served it to Sugar as her after nap treat.
In the coming months, we are going to feature apple treats that you and your dog can enjoy.

Happy Tasty Tuesday!
That looks so good!!
I don’t usually peel apples but if I did I would want to use that peeler. It looks like it would be fun to use
We all like apples. Mom has one every day and shares some pieces with us. Sometimes we get even more if she has extra apples.
What a cool apple peeler!! We will have to check that out!! Certainly looks like it would be a much easier way to peel than using a knife. Apples are so good…we are looking forward to going to the cider mill
I’ve always wanted to get a peeler like that. Thanks for the recipe.
we do love our apples – we tried ambrosia apples for the first time this year and they become our most favorite ever…only problem – mom like them too much and doesn’t always want to share with us.
We love apples and Mom says they’re very good for us as long as we don’t eat the core! 🙂
PeeS…..We received our contest winning package yesterday. As soon as Mom gets some free time from taking care of my human sissy, we’ll post about it and show how much we enjoy those Pumpkin Patch treats! Thanks again.
Ooh, those apples look yummy! That is one nifty way to peel an apple! I love how it makes spiral slices.
Happy Tasty Tuesday.

That’s awesome, I just have one of those apple corer things you push down on and it splits into about 8 pieces.
We love apples and are so looking forward to getting our favorite Honey Crisps again. Jack and Maggie both love them too…we don’t bother taking the skin off though…just eat ’em.
the apple peeler is great! it would make a cool gift for my mom, whos an “apple-holic”. have a super tuesday and many thanks for the idea!
I’ll share an apple with Sugar any day! I learned, feeding Sugar bits of my own apple, how to do it right. Now Chewy gets bits of apple when I have one.
We love apples! Did you see the video going around of the man peeling them with a power drill last week? FAST!
As cats, we don’t like apples, Sug – how about tuna?? can you show us how to open up a can???? ha ha ha
We have those over here and they kind of weird as we’d never use them to peel an apple but if you’re peeling quite a few why not? Have a terrific Tuesday.
Best wishes Molly
I have an apple peeler like that from Pampered Chef. I will have to dig under the cabinets and fetch it! ☺ Bentley and Pierre bought love apples fresh or dehydrated. ♥
We try to go apple picking every fall, it’s one of our favorite fall activities! We also have a peeler/corer/slicer similar to yours, and we love it. We’re looking forward to learning more new recipes to try!
Tasty apple season! Yay!
That looks so yummy!!
What a cool gadget! We need to tell our mom about this! We love apples!
