Golden LOVE it! With the help of Anna’s dad Dean, they’ve complied a collection of Golden Advice to other canines.
Dean Koontz and His Dog ANNA
Anna’s motto: “Let Me Hold Your Paw and Help.”
Anna’s advice to owners is: “Read this book and get a clue about what your dogs really think of you!”
Ask Anna is adorable and filled with beautiful photos of different kinds of dog breeds asking Anna for advise. Of course, the book contains charming photos of Anna too. In the book, Anna advised 37 canines advise in the form of questions and answers. Some of the hilarious topics Anna provided advised are:
- Dog Breathe
- Dog Chewing
- Love and Bonding
- FOOD
- Begging
- Tennis Balls
Sugar immediately focused on Anna’s photo with the tennis ball. Sugar is truly a Golden dog that loves tennis balls. According to Anna, “ Tennis balls are mystical objects symbolizing the perfect roundness of creation, reminding us that life is a chase toward our destiny. Each tennis ball is a symbol of eternal joy and eternal life.” Anna explained it beautifully and in a philosophical way. Sugar and I Golden Agree with you Anna.
Anna is the Dear Abby of the canine. In the book, Anna revealed that she loves sausage. Sugar wants to ask Anna … ‘How about BANANA? I Golden LOVE BANANAS! I Woof Woof for more Banana treats everyday but my mom put a limit on my consumption to 3/day. Do you think this is fair?.” We hope to get a response from Anna 🙂

I’ve always liked Dean Koontz books. I had no idea his dog was a talented author as well 🙂 Sounds like an entertaining read.
I saw this the other day in the bookstore and pointed it out to several people.
I’ve always loved his books! Now do you think Anna was helping him all along?
Dean Koontz has long been one of my favorite authors, partly because dogs are always a part of his books! This book looks wonderful too.
Hi Sugar! The question we’d ask Anna is why our inside toys have to stay inside. Mom seems oddly insistent that we drop our toys before we go outside. We have cool toys outside, too, but sometimes we just want to take our favorite toy for that day outside with us.
Hope you get an extra banana today!
Wuv from your Golden pals,
Ginger & Blaze
how old is Anna
Great to see Koontz is a dog lover too, I had no idea. Love the name Anna, as it is my mom’s and my grandma’s name! I want to Ask Anna … Do you prefer to be an only dog child or would you rather have a furry friend of your own kind share your forever home?
We just LOVE Dean Koontz and Anna, we just finished Dean’s book The City, but haven’t read Anna’s book yet!

We would ask Anna what the best way to get our pawrents to rub our tummies is!
Well we has lots of questions we would like to ask Anna, but we guess our main one is why the people get so annoyed when we barks at night. We are just talking to the critters that come to visit us.
We love Dean Koontz and are happy to see he has another Golden. We have read Trixie’s books.
Dean Koontz is one of my favorite authors. His book, Watchers is one of the reasons I choose Tucker, my Golden Retriever. If you haven’t read it, it is a must! Bentley would ask how to get more on-demand belly rubs.
Looks like a great book, especially if you are a Golden! I thought I could write one or humans and there GBGV’s but that would limit sales to like 100 books and we would be done! Sometimes being rare is not beneficial!
Nice one and we never knew he had a dog. That is an author from our past and we should go and check him out again. Have a super Saturday.
Best wishes Molly
What a cute idea for a book and clever marketing! Sending hugs to you and Sugar.
Mom loves Dean Koontz, is reading on of his books right now. Watchers was one of the first of his books she read and is one of her favorites

We would ask Anna why do some peeps insist on dressing us up in silly clothes?
yeah, I would like to ask Anna if her peeps make her wear Halloweenie costumes…and if so, what is she gonna wear this year?
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Wager would ask why we we put all the things that look the best to chew on up too high!
That sounds like a super cute and funny book! I’m going to have to add it to my list of books to buy. 🙂
Thanks for the review, Sugar!
This sounds like a interesting read! Thanks for sharing 🙂
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
That looks like a fun read!
I would ask Anna…how do you handle the fame?
DZ Dogs want to know…how’d you get that gloriously beautiful silver face!
I would ask Anna to reveal the secret to a dog’s complete happiness!
I want to ask anna what it like to know Dean. LOVE HIS BOOKS. LOVE HIM.
I’d ask Anna what her favorite trick is that she can do and what her favorite treat is that she gets for doing it.
My daughter loves Dean and has all his books, but this one!!!
We are a dog lover family so reading this book would be so great!!
I loved Dean Koontz’s previous book about his dog. I’m sure this one is excellent too and look forward to reading it.
I would ask Anna what makes dogs want to chew up their blankets and bedding? I would love to know.
Does Anna think she could have a doggie friend named Drago, an austarlian shepherd, in Dean’s next book. Anna could be an influence to make Drago famous.
