I have a Honda CR V. My Brooklyn much prefers the flat back area than back seats. Living in Georgia, I have been constantly concerned about heat.

I bought a remote thermometer and leave the sensor back with her. The read-out stays with me up front for monitoring. After seeing how warm it really was, I went to Autozone and bought a clothing rack that goes from side to side (&11.99). I bought a clip on fan that has the plug for a cigarette lighter. When I start the car, the fan, clipped to the clothing bar kicks on. When I turn the key off the fan goes off. Temps are lower, the air flow is nicer, and instead of being worried, the remote sensor ($19.99 @ Wally World) keeps me informed and I can worry about something else now! FYI.
