Owning a pet can be expensive. Many pet parents are finding ways to save and at the same time be able to pamper their pets. Are you a pet parent that looks for pet deals? Do you shop on-line? Do you partake in promotional discounts? For sure, you’ve used coupons when shopping for your groceries. Are you aware that there are coupons available on-line for pet food, pet care supplies and at your favorite pet retail shops?
Why Use Coupons?
Bottom Line: It is a great way to save money. It’s not just about saving a dollar or two or five dollars on pet products. Utilizing coupons are financially beneficial in the long term. Money saved in a year, for example $50 or $100, can be used for your pet’s vet care.
Coupons.com, a leader in both printable grocery coupons and online coupon codes, offers pet coupons. At Coupons.com, you don’t need to sign-up in order to redeem any of the codes or to print out coupons. There are 3 ways you can save on all of your favorite pet products and pet retail stores.
1) Printable Coupons are for pet products that you can redeem in-store.

You simply select the pet product , “clip coupon” and it will automatically store in your Print Coupons page. (Take Note; There’s a Coupon Printing App you might need to install on your computer in order to print a coupon.)

2) Coupon Codes: This method is my favorite way to save money. These codes can be redeemed at your favorite online pet stores, like Petco, PetSmart, Pet360, Only Natural Pet, 1800PetMeds and many more. Use the search field to look for other online pet retailers. It is easy to redeem the coupon code, you simply “Click to Save” and a new window will open for the “code”. You can save or directly go to the website to shop.
3) Card Linked Offers: I just learned about this method. It is a brand new way to save. How does it work? You simply add an “offer” to your credit card, Visa, Mastercard or American Express. Every time you shop and use your card, at a pet retail store you get an automatic discount. You will see the discount deducted from your monthly statement.
Right now, only PetSmart has the card linked offers. You get $5 when you spend $25+. For more information about this method, visit Coupons.com Card Linked Offers page.
Coupons.com has provided me the ease to “search for coupons” for my favorite pet products and pet stores. I invite you to check it out and take advantage of saving money.
Do you use coupons when buying pet products?

All good tips – thank you! I’m always looking for coupons but sometimes have a hard time finding them for the specific products we use.

With high quality food and treats being pretty expensive, it’s great have resources for coupons and saving money. I always check out RetailMeNot as well. Thanks!
My mom loves coupons and deals, two years ago, she kept track of every coupon/groupon she used and found to have saved almost $1000 over the year. Why not use them if you are going to be purchasing anyway.
Great idea! We shop at our local pet food store, and they have a “Frequent buyer” program there for the brand of dog food I eat. When we buy 11 bags of the same food, we get the 12th free! They also have quarterly rebates that you get back in the mail to spend at their store on whatever you want. We like them a lot! We used a $20 mail-in rebate on the dog food last time, and we got the bag for SUPER cheap. Makes Mom and Dad really happy!
Good info! The mom is always looking for ways to save money on our foods, treats, toys.
I usually don’t use coupons because don’t take the time to find them and then forget about them in my purse. I do look for discounts and take advantage of that.
We are big fans of coupons. We use digital coupons at our grocery store as well as regular coupons. A penny saved and all of that! ☺
